Enjoyed our stay and an easy five stars. Best bits: * The establishment - including its grounds - oozes history and character * Upgraded room with massive jacuzzi sized bath (and bathroom) along with separate shower * Fascinating local in the hotel bar who owns a nearby village (downgrade from his
Cracking hotel with ample free parking, the staff we encountered on our visit were very friendly and informative, it’s a great base to explore the East coast and many other little villages around there then on the night time you can walk into Malton and have some nice food and drinks at the local ba
Went for a 70th birthday and we were given a private room. That food was really good and they couldn't do enough for us. So a big thank you and we will be booking again.
Immaculately clean, huge comfortable bed, bedroom and ensuite. Well presented and served tasty food at dinner and breakfast. Super staff and fabulous atmospheric building. Not the first time here, nor the last!
First class dining and very warm and friendly front of house staff. The steak was one of the best I have ever had.
