i wanted to try food from currymile before i left to go back to the states and we chose this place as it was large enough for 8 people to a table & still fit comfortably and the atmosphere was lively so it didn't feel too uncomfortable to have big conversations! it was a few of us's first time but we were recommended the curry dishes by a particular friend that's been here before! i wanted to try lentils so i opted for daal tarka with medium spice level! it was my first time try pilau rice as well and it was super good--soft and fluffy! the portions were large so overall for the price, it was worth it! the rest of us shared amongst themselves w sides of rice and drinks! the sea bass looked really yummy as well! i was very satisfied with this being my last meal in manchester until then next time! the service was really nice and was easy to talk to! the food came out fairly quickly and all together so it really did a nice job! it's a nice place for friends, family, and even for more romantic duos!

It's hard to find a desi restaurant that serves good food and had nice décor. My Lahore knocks it out of the park with both. Their customer service skills lack a bit but the food makes up for it. I don't find the food to be authentic but they don't claim their food is authentic either but more of a UK/PK fusion. I got the chicken burger with fries which was really tasty but the bun was very soggy so I had to remove the bottom half before I could attempt to eat it. The fries were ok. My cousin tried the fish burger and said that it was really tasty. We also got some falooda but it was just okay. A couple of us also ordered the garlic cheese naan to go but I wish we ate it there because by the time we got to it, the butter was soaked in the bread which made it really salty. Prices are a bit expensive if compared to the rest of the restaurants on this street but this one is deff. the most clean and well decorated out of all of them.

To be good Indian/Pakistani restaurant in the middle of Curry Mile, you have to stand out, and boy do they stand out. As soon as you walk in, the decor transports you to another place. The place is lit by an eclectic group of lights of different shapes and colors, and the walls are covered with sensory overloading posters and color. The service is superb as well! The staff is very friendly, and the restaurant is allergy-friendly, in that they list all common allergens next to every item and the staff makes sure all of your allergen needs are attended to. The food was A-OK. It wasn't the greatest Indian (or Indo-Chinese) food I've had, but it was pretty tasty! I had the vegetable stir fry, which is much more than just soy sauce, and the vegetable panini, where the vegetables are grilled with masala before assembling the sandwich. Both options were great! I also had a strawberry mint mocktail which was sweet and sour, crisp and refreshing. If you're hankering for some Indian food that has a fusion twist, I'd definitely stop by!

10/10 worth a visit! Curry is made to your degree of spice which I like. I've had the mild and the hot and both were full of flavour. The naan was light and delicious. The staff are so welcoming and attentive.

My god. That was one of the best meals (not just Pakistani / Indian) that I have had in quite a while. The decor is super fun...but the food is no joke. I would highly recommend the palak paneer, butter chicken and cheesy garlic naan. Don't sleep on this spot. It's worth the wait!

I finally made it to My Lahore, after many recommendations. Its clearly the busiest restaurant in Rusholme. And rightly so. Great food, great prices and great service. All served in an alcohol free environment which gives things a different twist to what I'm used to. On arrival, we were advised of a 25 minute wait for a table, which was a very accurate prediction. Rather than sit in the holding pen at the front of the restaurant we took a walk down Wilmslow Road for a while. Nowhere was as busy as My Lahore. I ordered a meat samosa for a starter, which came with a fresh side salad. The samosas tasted very fresh with the most delicious minced mutton. For my main I ordered a Chicken Madras with boiled rice and naan bread. Wait, my dish is named after a city in India, and I'm in a restaurant named after a city in Pakistan. I guess thats inclusive! The waiter did warn me that the Chicken Madras would be very hot, which I'm okay with. It was hot, and delicious. This place is not all about curry sauces though. The menu is quite varied. There are also steaks and grills. If you're in a group and theres always that one person who doesn't like spicy food, they even have 'continental' dishes such as lasagne and Shepherd's pie. Service was very prompt and friendly. What I did like was that a chef came from the kitchen to ask us if the food was okay (it was), and also the manager came over to ask if the service was okay (it was). The portion sizes were fairly generous. I couldn't finish all my food, there was enough for another meal, so took it home for lunch the next day! I was too full to be able to manage a stodgy dessert. The menu has some British 'back to school' classics such as apple pie and jam roly poly! I had a great experience at My Lahore and will definitely be back. I enjoyed it much more than I had hoped, and the lack of alcohol somehow enhanced the experience which took me by surprise. Probably because the atmosphere was different, and better.

I've only picked up a delivery from here for a sibling and haven't really had the pleasure of tasting their food but two things suggest it might be sensational. Firstly I've heard first hand that this is authentic Lahori food and has a home cooked taste to it. That's a bold statement since many would argue that Lahore, which is in the heart of punjab (which is like the Rome of the entire region) is famed for its cuisine. Secondly a simple fact I observed first hand, it's packed 7 days a week!! In fact I'd go as far as to say, when it comes to Rusholme it's possibly the busiest place on the entire strip at the weekend. Which perhaps is a downside and could potentially put most people off dining here. It's very loud and busy and I lost count of how many staff they have on the floor as a result. However I doubt this would hurt the sensibilities of a real foodie. On a different note the desserts also look incredible. So much so I'm pretty sure the girl in front of me in the queue nearly fainted as the waiter took one of the gigantic Sundaes to a table. Updated review coming soon....

I came here with my boyfriend around 8 pm and we had to wait for 5 to 10 minutes to be seated but I didn't mind at all because the restaurant was quite lively and the menu card had nice choices of international and Asian dishes. Starter: 1) Fish Pakura for £2.95 and they were tasty, flaky cod fish 4 to 5 big pieces marinated in special spicy batter & deep fried. 2) Chicken Tortilla Strips for £2.95 (Chargrilled shredded chicken with onions, peppers & melting mozzarella cheese) 4 medium sized pieces but I must say they were a aaaaaahmazing ;) Main Course: I went for a butter chicken (Asian dish) with pilau rice. The portions were quite big and I was surprised by the authentic taste. I loved my dish and i was happily to leave a tip after an impeccable service. Venue: Multicultural, vibrant and quite a colourful ambiance.

The food and atmosphere is great, I’ve been there couple of times and tried few different things but my favourite is the chicken lasagna and the red velvet cake is to die for. Friendly and fast service at a decent price, their customer service is great and the staff named Muhammad was very helpful. I will definitely be going back. Would be good if you could book a table beforehand.

Had a good experience eating at the restaurant. Tried biryani, lasagna, and kids' meals. Food was bit spicy but overall better than what you get in GB. Atmosphere was nit pleasant and people are sitting closely to each other hence crowded and bad atmosphere.

Authentic Pakistani food here. First time I have ever tasted egg fried rice the same as in Pakistan. Chicken tikka bohti the same also it was weird as the taste identical. I have literally had hundreds of Indian meals in the UK and none authentic like this . Service very hit and miss unless you a young female then they will rush to serve you which was annoying . Also very very loud inside . Tables also had a greasy feel to them which was off putting . But food is good apart from the fish in the mixed bbq which at £20 plus is expensive fish lukewarm and chicken wings undercooked . I’ll go back again as granddaughter enjoyed mango lassi which was expensive but very tasty . Rusholme ruined now Arab shisha bars and Romanian beggars plus the whole area a health hazard . Go early as local Asians pack the place out

hoy there, fellow food explorers! 🚀 Gather 'round as I recount the epic tale of my family's culinary adventure at MyLahore Restaurant in the heart of Manchester! Upon entering this colourful gastronomic spaceship, I couldn't help but feel like I've stumbled into a Willy Wonka-meets-Star Wars fusion world! 🌈🚀 The interior was like a psychedelic kaleidoscope that seemed to have been painted by Picasso's more eccentric cousin. It's a family-friendly vibe, all right, and by family-friendly, I mean it's like dining in the middle of a carnival! Now, let's talk about the menu, shall we? Oh, sweet Mother of Menus! 📜 It was like trying to read a Shakespearean play in Swahili. So many options, so little time! There were grilled delights, burgers that could rival the Tower of Pisa, steaks so juicy they could make a cactus cry tears of joy, curries that would make a Bollywood dance number blush, and a pasta selection that could put the Leaning Tower of Pisa to shame. And that's not even getting into the desserts and drinks! 😵 As we sat there, paralyzed by the plethora of choices, our dear server probably thought we were writing an encyclopaedia on the history of food. Eventually, after ages of internal debate, I chose the chicken fillet steak with egg fried rice, mash, and veggies. "A meal fit for a king!" I thought, hoping to be blown away like a feather in a hurricane. 🍗💨 Alas, while the food was good, it didn't make me sing "Hallelujah" from the mountaintops or moonwalk across the restaurant. It was more like a gentle pat on the back, saying, "You did alright, champ." But with so many other culinary wonders in the vicinity, I may embark on a gastronomic quest to other lands before returning to this psychedelic spaceship. 🚀🌌 However, I must applaud the prompt and engaging service! The servers were like cheerful ninjas, ready to fulfil our every request with a wink and a smile. 😄🥷 In conclusion, MyLahore is a place where flavours collide, and colours run wild, providing a culinary adventure that'll leave you dizzy with choices. It's worth a visit with your adventurous family, but be prepared for a buffet of options that'll make your head spin like a merry-go-round! 🎪🎡 Just remember, the food is good, but the experience is otherworldly! 🛸🌮

I ordered Sindhi biryani and found excellent taste. On the other hand mutton chops were undercooked and also looked pre cooked. Mutton chops and chicken boti both were cold. Garlic Naan prepared only with plain roti with garlic paste. Also seems that service staff not interested to serve and works with half hearted. I only give 4 star due to sindhi biryani.
