The Alborz is back - it has been missed for the last couple of years while the family were pursuing other ventures but the same team are back and have re-opened after having extended the kitchen and dining spaces. Also it has had a complete revamp and it looks fantastic. Sumptuously decorated it has a relaxed, attractive, and comfortable interior. The chicken was probably the most succulent grilled chicken I've ever had, I don't know how they do it but it's gorgeous. I had lamb too and I absolutely cannot fault it, that too was excellent. The fresh bread is to die for as well. I give the place ten out of ten. The service was impeccable, the food outstanding, underpinned by prices that offer great value for money. I'd suggest you book a table because it is and will remain a popular and busy restaurant, especially with the Persian community that flock to it for the authentic meals on offer. Take your own wine, corkage is £5. Seriously, I cannot wait to go back.

I recently dined at this wonderful Persian restaurant and was thoroughly impressed! The service was impeccable – attentive, friendly, and quick to offer recommendations. I sampled a variety of dishes, each more delicious than the last, showcasing the rich flavors and culinary excellence of Persian cuisine. It’s clear this place pours heart and soul into every dish. Whether you’re a longtime lover of Persian food or curious to explore, this restaurant is a must-visit. Can’t wait to return!

So glad Alborz is back. It's a family favourite and it was missed. The quality of food is still spectacular. As a vegan, they have only increased their offering and the stew's remain tasty! Had the okra stew (vegan). The portions are always big so come prepared to get stuffed. Non-vegans had boneless joujeh, lamb chops, Koobideh and all loved it. Fresh bread and fluffy rice. Chilli sauce is a must. Fresh Persian mint tea . Everything is tasty, flavoursome and fresh Such a friendly atmosphere, always going out their way to make sure we are looked after. Old owners of the great are back and would highly recommend this place and can't wait to return again.

I was so glad when I saw that they had re opened. It used to be my favourite Persian restaurant and when I went for the first time in 3 years today it had only gotten better. From the service to the food everything was amazing. The atmosphere is perfect as well (very authentic). I will now be coming at least twice a week. All their dishes are delicious. P.S they do the best Deezee in town!
