Give it a try
The place is beautiful and the ambience amazing. To be honest I was expecting much more from their food. We tried the taste menu and it was just fine, nothing really special.
The service was really good, we were served by an Italian girl who was lovely and really helpful.
Food was lovingly prepared and presented. But a little to heavy on the spice for me particularly the nachos. But well worth the visit the staff are really nice and attentive. My favourite dishes were the desserts beauty for the eyes.
Food was very good. Pricey, but good quality. The portion sizes were actually a lot better than expected, I was expecting to leave hungry as is with most fancy restaurants, but I was actually quite full. I had 3 small dishes to myself.
The music at the restaurant was a bit weird for me and not relaxing, felt like I was in a club lol. But that's subjective!
A very posh restaurant, service is the best thing I would say about this restaurant, all waiter and waitress are very attentive, friendly, welcoming and polite. We had the 6 course tasting menu, food is delicious , I only didn’t like the sauce of a few dishes , the sauces were very sour in my opinion, if without the sauce the food would be perfect. I was a bit disappointed about myself didn’t dress up to this restaurant, as it appears to be very posh and almost all customers were elegantly dressed though the restaurant didn’t impose any dress code. I would say it is a very good dining experience.
I would give this place 4.5 if I could. The service was impeccable from the moment we entered, staff were attentive, friendly and gave honest recommendations which was refreshing as opposed to upselling. The restaurant is modern and comfortable, my only issue is they could tone down the dj music a little it does get overwhelming and almost cheapens the vibe of a lovely restaurant. The food was excellent, I do wish the menu was more fusion rather than just a Mexican bit and Japanese section i think there’s room for some more creative and impressive dishes. The food was very tasty pit presentation could have been better for the price of the dishes it would have added an extra luxurious feel to it. The dessert was the best part and also the addition of a sake menu which was great.
It is one of the pricier restaurants in town, I think it’s definitely worth a try, I don’t know if I’d hurry back but we had a very enjoyable evening and it’s great for a special occasion.
Great bar adjoining the equally grand Radisson Edwardian. Have dined for breakfast previously but just had cocktails on this occasion, drinks are pricey but what would one expect for a 5 star hotel? Service first class
Fine dining at its best!! If you want delicious food with every bite, there you go!! Every dish we ordered was super yummy and rich with flavors. Can’t wait to return.
Service was ok when we got in, but slowed down incredibly as they got busy.
The atmosphere was super bubbly but I disliked how tightly seated we all were- bunched up. No atom of privacy. The next table could literally hear your every conversation.
This place was excellent! My wife and I are on our honeymoon and chose to eat dinner here randomly since we were staying in the Edwardian hotel. The atmosphere was amazing. The food was amazing. The staff was friendly and the service was very quick. Mo was our server and he exceeded our expectations and was very attentive. He also helped us as we have never tried a tapas style restaurant before. Highly highly recommend the prawn tempura and wagyu fried rice.
If you are ill , you go see a doctor. If your car breaks down , a garage . If you want to experience a nightclub in your mouth , more specifically The Hacienda , want to experience sensory overload , want to dissappear into somewhere " interesting in your mind " you go to Peter Street Kitchen , the Hacienda , that's the 80 90s mancunian nightclub btw and not the middle class marks and sparks definition of the word .
The place has an air of "something other " going on . They want you to experience the place , you aren't here just for the food. From the gentle waves of incense scent floating through the air relaxing your mind The D.j playing trance tunes making me reminisce of my times as a teenager in the early nighties in Manchester - now in my 50s sat here with a wife and two adult kids , biggest buzz of them all , wink . We haven't even got to the main event , the rush hasn't come in yet . Right let's talk food enough of these Happy Mondays vibes, look em up kids and you thought you were cool !
Made to feel welcome and like I said the incense stick burning seemed to act as a decompression chamber as you walk in off the busy Friday night Manucnian Street. The bar area is very tastefully done , loved the oriental cushions on shelves in the air . This is not an intimate restaurant, like I said it's a full on sensory experience. You touch , taste , smell , see and hear . It's an inner and an outer journey. The outer the ambience, the inner the food .
Emily handled us expertly and with a friendly manner We dropped our first edamame drizzled with lime and chilli , a great palate cleanser , the journey begins. From that point onwards , dish after dish we were blown away . Everything was expertly cooked and tasted fantastic. No two dishes were the same . The dishes were presented with a brief explanation and what I really liked was that they were served in a specific order , just like the trance music building to a crescendo so did the food , the lamb cutlets hitting the peak . Then the gentle come down . The chocolate bento box and the passion fruit creme brulee acting as soft ground for us to land back on.
The prices are on the high side but this is a celebratory place . A place you go to remember and make a memory . Bravo .
Amazing food, worth the money as a treat. Excellent and attentative service. Food came out at the right time so there was always something to eat. Cocktails were also amazing. Would recommend coming here.
Came for my friends graduation meal, and we all agreed it was a meal that we would not forget! Probably the best food I’ve had in Manchester. Was a bit apprehensive this would be a place just for influencers or Instagram but the evening was amazing. Quality drinks, food, service. Really lovely host, and Pasquale looked after us really well. Would especially recommend the seafood risotto, snow crab signature dish, and lamb cutlets. Great experience
