LOVELY FOOD GREAT SERVICE
The food is always freshly cooked the staff are always welcoming and friendly with a great knowledge of the the food they serve and any possible dietary problems. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Great food :)
Received lovely service from Aysha during my visit annd thanks to her recommendation I managed to find my new favourite tampopo dish! Will definitely be coming back soon
Hi Really nice food. Nice weather. Proper curry dishes. My waiter was Kornel amazing mate. Every dishes what he recommended was amazing especially desert chocolate coconut cake. Extraordinary ! Soup really good. Definitely I will come back there ! See ya soon
Great place, food was tasty, quite busy but order was taken straight away and we didn’t have to wait long for it to arrive. Great service from lovely staff.
Having not visited a Tampopo for at least five years (the last time being a quick mid-shopping bite to eat in the Trafford Centre), I of course agreed to visit their newly-refurbished Corn Exchange location in the centre of Manchester and check out their menu. Prepare yourself: there’s a LOT of food in this post. Don’t read it if you’re sat at work starving and it’s only 10.30am, is all I’m saying.
First ate here last year with a friend, amazed at variety on the menu, food very tasty & fresh, something to suit all palates, great value too, have been to the one in leeds too but prefer this one. - would highly recommend!
It's amazing, the first time I went, I was blown away. The eastern express menu is extreamly good value for money, I introduced 3 friends the next time I went, and we've been back every three months, as a special day out! LOVE IT!!!
I like Tampopo because it is relaxed, there are a few different cuisines to try under one roof and for those that tend to stick with chinese food there are options that may help open the door to foods from other countries. It certainly did for me some years back.
Came for the food stayed for the cocktails. Not somewhere I could recommend for the food when many independent Asian restaurants in Manchester blow this out of the water.
Food wasn't bad it just wasn't anything to want to go back for.
This was my first time coming out to this place. I RARELY go out to eat and in general eating in restaurants doesn't appeal to me at all.
Once I walked in, I could tell this would be different, I went with a friend after work in what we called a "d-stress" meeting. We were served by wonderful lady named Kira who was absolutely amazing from the beginning to end and she didn't come across of being pushy or forcing us to buy anything. Kira really did make the food experience worth it and all of the offers I really loved and appreciated (I ended up taking food and a dessert for my sister which she also really loved!).
Food wise - I took the vegan Yaki udon with Thai egg and it was lovely! Seasoned really well and the vegetables were SO SOOO GOOD (I usually don't eat as much, but I finished the whole plate!) Tofu was nice, fresh and chewy. Sparkling water was also nice and cold. My friend enjoyed her meal as well as were both just had a nice calm down time in general while eating. Also price was definitely better than I expected while portions were fine for me (medium size with good price).
All in all would definitely recommend this place to everyone! The vibe was so nice, food amazing quality and I will definitely be coming again!
Great food! Starters and mains absolutely delicious 👏👏👏 original and very nice drinks, everything worth the price. Cosy place with very nice service, definitely I’ll come back 😊
Food was awesome, Kira our lovely waitress recommended some of the small plates, favourite was the popcorn chicken, we will be back on our next visit to Manchester.
Very tasty food, great atmosphere considering we were practically the only the people there! Our waitress Lottie was lovely and really friendly, as it was my birthday I even got a free desert! Enjoyed every moment of my time here!
Thank you very much for a really lovely birthday!! 😁
Visited this restaurant for first time on a Saturday afternoon in June. Easy wheelchair access (via a lift) and not too busy. I'd read some good reviews about their vegan options so I thought it would be worth trying it out! Nice atmosphere, great service and large tasty portions means this is definitely a 5 out of 5! Try it, you won't be disappointed...
Dined in with a friend before a long train journey home this evening, our waitress was so lovely and friendly and the service was faultless. All food and drinks were so tasty, everything was excellent. Thank you!!
We had a great time for my partners birthday! Cocktails and food were great and our waitress Alyssa was so lovely and attentive. Great selection of vegan food and all the drinks were labelled clearly.

+5
Went tonight for a meal with my family who live abroad for the first time in 5 years.
It was absolutely amazing, the food is gorgeous and Alyssa who saw to us all night was an absolute super star!
Super lovely and attentive.
Amazing restaurant! First time visiting and we left super Happy ( 3 adults and three kids).
We went last Sunday without reservation and the staff were super friendly to gave us a table. Menu for kids (healthy and DELICIOUS) good portions and excellent prices.
Adult food were scrumptious! Super tasty, big portions a real asian flavour.
The decorations are fab, to be honest I didn’t expect to much (never heard about the place) but it’s terrific, I do love it , looking forward to back again and try a different dish.
If you are in Manchester Piccadilly I suggest you to give a try, better service, taste and price than Wagamama (sorry).
