Found this place online, so we thought we would check it out whilst visiting Manchester. Went for happy hour. Buy 2 drinks and get a free pizza. It was fantastic value for money, the pizza was really nice too. The staff were lovely and the music amazing.
What a lovely atmosphere, and lovely little venue.. the pizza, free pizza during happy was fab, the music was fab and the cocktails were fab. Definitely will be going again once the opportunity arrives again..
Had a lovely evening with my daughter on this who loves the cello..
Wonderful evening out here listening to the live band. It's cool laid back and the sound system is loud enough to enjoy the experience without being deafening.
Book a table if you can!
Always a great night at Matt and Phred's. Live music every night. Nice pizza, too. Book a table, even if not eating as it can get really busy.
Fantastic experience. We booked a table a day in advance and got one of the last ones at the far end away from the stage. It wasn't an issue as they had a TV showing a live view of the stage and we could still hear the music easily. If you want a table close to the front I recommend enquiring at lea
Love the energy of the live band, fabulous music, great environment to relax and enjoy ourselves in the cozy atmosphere at Matt & Phreds Jazz Club, definitely worth a visit to be here, and I am glad we've chosen to get to this place instead.
Love this place. Free entrance and live music every day! It's so good having affordable options and being able to enjoy the music scene of Manchester. Really good vibe too
Great venue for live music of all types with pizzas and good beer selection. Can reserve a table. Friendly staff and great location.
Great mix of music from Jazz, Blues and everything in-between. There are plenty of free events to attend and with regular 'Happy Hour's', a good choice of freshly cooked food. You can be sure to have a good time.
