last minute visit, very please we went
Looked for an indian restaurant in manchester whilst on a night out. Great little place, food spot on, service very good and overall experience positive. Kitchens open to view and looked very clean which is always a positive for myself
Always enjoy our visits to both Manchester and Birmingham restaurants! Great service with interesting menu and good quality Indian cuisine.
Highly recommended.
Well, I can say enjoyed it a lot.
Food was very flavourable, the place is nice and there were many options and a lot of different things. Even after eating a lot and being full, the dessert was still amazing!
Ordered the potato tiki chaat followed by biryani and ras malai for desert.
Travelling from qatar I was sceptical that the quality of food would be as good as we get here in the Middle East. I was pleasantly surprised though, the starter was filling, tasty and well spiced. The lamb biryani was also delicious served with a cooling raita and a Salan to moisten the rice. The desert was ras malai, flat milky balls served in a sweet milk sauce delicately spiced with pistachio. All in all an excellent meal - thoroughly enjoyed. I was in Manchester for 4 nights and I ate there 2 times. Excellent service, excellent decor and good food.
Hope the quality doesn't slip.
Beautiful ambience and it was quite crowded for a Tuesday evening. I order aloo matar tikki for starters. It was a good portion and really well made. I wish they had more veg starter options. For mains, I had paneer jalfrezi and garlic naan. Liked the taste of both. For dessert I had chilli chocolate tart which was yummy. The taste of the food is thankfully more Indian compared to some others.
Stunning restaurant. Elegant relaxing atmosphere. Friendly staff really go out of their way to look after you. Most importantly the food is just delicious, real authentic taste cooked to perfection, served beautifully. One of the best restaurants I've visited. Highly recommend.
This was a wonderful first time experience at Asha's in Manchester. Our waitress Anju was simply the best. Service with a smile all the time.
Delicious food, beautifully presented. Looking forward to returning soon. I will be recommending family and friends try Asha's.
The food was absolutely delicious and the staff is splendid, really great customer orientation. Even though we had some minor inconveniences such as waiting time for our table and the food, the staff quickly made up for it by offering us free starters and a discount. Great service attitude! Would definitely recommend :-)
The food was delicious, and I do recommend going, but not for the tasting menu.
We booked a 6 course tasting menu "with wine flight".
The waiter stopped telling us what the dish was after the 2nd course, and there was no menu to give you a clue, either.
The wine was not a wine flight, as it had not been paired by a Somelier.
Again, the waiter stopped telling us what the wine was. There was also no description of the wine, and how it complimented the food.
Constructive criticism would be: The guests should be given a tasting menu to read from. It doesn't matter so much then, if the waiter forgets to say what it is. Don't sell the package as "with wine flight", as it raises expectations. It should be sold as "with wine".
It was our first MICHELIN star restaurant experience.
Honestly? It was divine, it was perfect, it was fantastic.
Highly recommended, and next Sunday we will visit again.
THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF!!! ❤️
Banging place classy as you like food delicious, dress it up, dress it down, I love Asha’s. Never disappoints
Food is superb beyond the average indian, with melting meats and flavours enhanced with buttery smoothness, slighly smoldering the spices.
However, service lets the establishment down. Luckily they are minor and easily rectified.
Out of 6 starter forks layed out, 3 have prongs were bent out of shape, making them unusable, needing replacement.
Multiple mix up with sparking and still mineral water (twice). Wrongly labelled bottles.
Not sure background music condusive to a relaxing dining experience.
We came to Asha's as a last minute decision because our usual Indian restaurant in Manchester was closed on Mondays, but what a fabulous find
Food was excellent and very generous portions, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and they even have their own beer
We will have to divide our loyalties in the future as we will be returning here
We had an amazing evening with authentic Indian food and very warm staff. After a long time we could relish Indian vegetarian food, which tasted like Indian. With Ashaji's songs playing in the background, the entire environment became very nostalgi. Thanks @ASHASMANCHESTERUK
The second time here, absolutely fantastic meal. Great staff, drinks, and surroundings. Would definitely recommend!
