The food was amazing. the service was as good as we've had at Michelin Star restaurants without the price tag. Chris, who looked after us, was phenomenal. Engaging, interested, and attentive. The price tag attributed below, was us buying expensive wine. They didn't have what we wanted in stock and
Australasia is a culinary masterpiece that took my taste buds on an unforgettable journey. From the moment I stepped into this gastronomic haven, I knew I was in for something extraordinary. The menu at Australasia is a symphony of flavors, expertly curated to deliver a dining experience like no ot
delicious. definitely different and especially loved the sticky belly pork skewers! coconut rice was quite dry tho and not what i was expecting. overall a good experience. did go for a birthday which was mentioned to the staff when booking, but seemed to be no acknowledgement of it. would've been ni
Amazing experience. Loved food and ambience. Found bit difficult to find the hotel as there is small entrance in the middle that take you on the lower floor. Massive menu impressed me. Quality of all items was exceptional. I would love to come back.
Drinks were good but £27.75 for 2 cocktails was abit steep, food was decent but again was abit of the steep side for what it was. Our waiter explained the menu and was nice but had to wait a while to be able to pay. Was a nice meal and nice to experience but probably won’t go for food again.
Visited a couple of times now - it’s still a popular and smart looking place even after being open for the best part of 15 years. Good mix of sushi / sashimi, small plates and main courses. Portions aren’t huge (some are genuinely tiny like the beef) but the sushi platters are good value. Dessert
If I were on a date I might have given it a higher rating, I think because we were a big group our food arrived after 4-5 glasses of wine despite having a set menu booked for us in advance. Regardless, the food was spot on, the atmosphere was fun and the cocktails were delicious!!! If everything was
First time trying here and came for my birthday it was amazing! The food was so delicious, we got small plates and shared, the staff and service was amazing, so friendly, told us about the menu and as it was my birthday have a complimentary happy birthday plate with a small macaroon on. The night we
Excellent restaurant on Manchester's Deansgate. Very tasty food served by friendly staff who are only too happy to walk you through a menu that can seem a bit confusing at first. Our first visit here and we are already planning our next one. We visited at 3pm on a Thursday and it was almost empty, b
It was lunchtime when we visited and we practically had the whole place to ourselves. Some of the best Sushi & Sashimi I've ever eaten. The Tempura Soft-shelled Crab was lovely and the Tempura Popcorn a revelation!
First time visiting. Absolutely excellent food, well worth the price. Fantastic and attentive service too. My best dish was the pork belly curry, you've got to try it! Overall, very much recommended!
We visited for Mother’s Day and were blown away by the food and the service. Can highly recommend the Australasia 10 sharing menu which is all of the signature dishes but make sure you’re hungry as there is a lot of food! Our server Jasmine was an absolute pleasure to be around we loved her so much
Great atmosphere and decor. Chic but cosy. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The food is absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We (2 of us) had 4 small plates, followed by mains, then a shared dessert. You can see the chefs at work in the kitchen (not just
I've been many times but this recent trip was exceptional, food was amazing and the service from start to finish was perfect. Our waiter/server Chris was friendly, talkative and extremely helpful and accommodating. Can't wait to go again.
We went to Australasia for dinner, and decide to choose the Hanami Blossom Sharing menu. Our overall experience was great as the interior, the staff and the ambience was quite classy. The menu was fantastic- my actual favourite was the selection of sushi and specifically the sea bass nigiri which wa
Fantastic atmosphere. The seats are quite close together if there's two of you but the acoustics make it so you can't hear any of the other tables. Food really great and fresh, service is very attentive. Thoroughly recommended
Hadn’t been to Australasia in a while. We were pleasantly greeted by Judah who give us a run down on the menu. Unfortunately, the only vegan big plate wasn’t available however the rest was. We decided to order lots of small plates and sides which were organised by Judah and brought out in ‘waves’ wh
