The Drop Bar Cafe - Manchester - Photo album

A cosy, welcoming Caribbean spot with a diverse menu. Staff are super kind and attentive. We ordered the famous Hench Box with their top two best sellers: jerk chicken and curry goat. It was enough to feed two! Jerk chicken was saucy, soft and falling off the bone as was the goat. The slaw and dump
The Drop is a lovely little cafe in Chorlton. The food is amazing. I had the jerk halloumi and curried chickpeas with cauliflower. All super tasty, good sized portions. There were 9 of us and the service was excellent.
What a great place!! Amazing young staff, all very polite and knowledgeable. Food was amazing, not too spicy. Great drinks and desserts menu. Cocktails pack a punch - pun intended! Would highly recommend
This was hands down the best experience I have EVER had In a restaurant, Nia was serving, and she gave us the most incredible experience. What a lovely woman! The food was out of this world... I would definitely recommend it for any occasion
First time visit last night and had a great time. The food was wonderful and tasty. Atmosphere is rustic mishmash and feels comfortable, it wasn't too busy when we were there which was nice as i think it could feel crowded if full. Staff were lovely and very welcoming.
Everything tasted just right, like home-cooked food. Would gladly go there again, a very colourful place with great happy-looking cocktails and a fun selection of deliciously creamy custard brownies :)
What can I say other than best food ever. Went for my birthday and had a great time. Friendly staff. Amazing food. Atmosphere on point. You must eat here. I’m telling you. Don’t miss out on this fantastic place.
Walked in and nice decor the music in the background made it very chilled out. A lot of options for adults and children, my son devoured his choice as so did I. Went on to a generous pudding which we both shared and it was so good. Waitress was lovely, very accommodating and happy to help at any p
Have been for drinks before! And they were great came back for food tonight! And we were not disappointed! Callum the host and Carlos the bar tender were amazing! The food was great shout out to the chefs! Definitely will be back! I want to try the Sunday dinners next!
Wonderful place, on arrival feels like a casual beach bar with lively music and although the the vibe was good I was a bit concerned it might not end up as good as I had seen the foot to be in Manchester's finest. But nothing to worry about the service was friendly relaxed and very good. The pitcher
We stumbled on this place for lunch and had the best meal ever. We ordered from the small plates menu but the portions were generous and delicious. We ordered jerk chicken wings, fried dumplings, mac and cheese and rice and peas with gravy on the side. The chicken wings fell off the bone they were s
Came here for lunch to celebrate our anniversary and it was awesome. We chose to sit outside (covered) as it was sunny. It wasn't cold at all but the staff turned on a heater for us. Lovely gesture. We always like trying new dishes that aren't 'typical' for us non-natives. Instead of ordering jerk
I can’t believe they don’t have 5 stars. i’ve never had a bad meal and last night was the best food. I love this place
First time visiting Jimmy and friends restaurant - I was very impressed. I remember Jimmy from college days and I love supporting small businesses especially when it belongs to a person from my own community. Food was delish, drinks were supercilious. There was a homeless person who had wandered in
5⭐️ FOOD & COCKTAILS. The jerk chicken was mouth watering! Curried goat was amazing. Definitely visiting again. Our server was Ev who was very warm & welcoming 🍽️
We came here for my dad’s birthday lastnight and the food was amazing! Had no clue what to get but our server Isabella recommended the jerk and curry goat and they were beautiful. Definitely going to be a regular! Music was 10/10 too!
A favourite of my local restaurants and some of the tastiest food in Chorlton. The curried goat, jerk chicken and mac & cheese are insanely good, albiet slightly pricey. Drinks are also delicious and fresh - the ginger mojito is a must-try, and happy hour starts at 9 so a winner in my book. The serv
