Lovely place, had the vegetarian Sunday dinner and my boyfriend had the meat Sunday dinner. They didn't have the cauliflower for the roast so instead they served some sweet potatoes and bean patty, it was delishous I was quite glad they didn't have the cauliflower in the end. Love it! Been here a few times and it's always been a great experience. Food is delicious and steaks cooked to perfection. Selection of sides are fab and go perfectly with the steaks. They were also running the "steak night" deal which is amazing value.

This place is perfect for a chilled evening where you can chat with friends and enjoy some great food. In fact, I'd go as far as to say that it's the best steak in Manchester.

Not the best in the city but still worth going. The potato soup is very good, one of the best across the city. But the steak is a little bit too dry on the 30 days dry aged one. And personally I would recommend the restaurant to serve the salt separately instead of on the same plate. The decoration
Really enjoyed our trip to Herd. More of a bar setting than a restaurant but very friendly staff made us feel right at home. The cocktails were fantastic.
Food was good, reasonably priced for steak (chateaubriand, creamed spinach, broccoli, mushroom and chips were all good).

Went to the allotment when it was at the other location and tried the 10 course taster menu!
This time wasn’t overly hungry so ordered sides. The cauliflower hot wings were the best of what we tried, I would love to make my own after trying such deliciousness.

Two roasts for £25, cannot beat it! Tasted so good, especially the greens! Meat was cooked to my liking and gravy was full of flavour. Cannot complain. 👌🏻
