First time visiting SUD after the menu change to the 12 plates and as always, I was blown away. The biggest issue I had at SUD previously was always choosing what I wanted to eat as everything is incredible, but now you can have a bit of everything which is perfect for those who get menu fomo like me! And for small plates, there’s nothing small about them, the portions are huge! Amazing value for money without ever compromising on flavours and quality, I couldn’t recommend this place enough. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out. From food, to drinks, to service, undoubtedly the best spot in the city 💝

First time visiting since the new menu change to small plates. House sugo is still the best dish. Meatballs also recommended. Would recommend 2-3 plates per person. Friendly staff and good atmosphere in Ancoats.

I recently dined at Sud Pasta and was thoroughly impressed by all the dishes we eat, the house sugo pasta dish was undoubtedly the highlight and was one of the best pasta dishes I've had the pleasure of tasting. The flavours were rich and perfectly balanced, leaving a lasting impression on my taste buds. To complement the meal, we enjoyed a reasonably priced 1-liter carafe of red wine, which added to the overall delightful experience. Highly recommed this place!

Our waitress, Lyd, was very helpful and recommended various courses. Fantastic food…especially as I have been in Bologna and Rome in the last 8 weeks. Would highly recommend. I will be back!

Incredible food and drink. Amazing flavour and such a good idea of small plates, so you can experience more of the dishes. Would just say it may not be suitable if you don’t like spice as a lot of them have chilli. But we really enjoyed it

extremely expensive price for “small portions” or “tapas sized” pasta!!! i was initially going to write a bad review about this place UNTIL i tried the food. oh my days jfc the pasta (esp the trofie with broccolini) was heavenly!! out of this world!! i’m not even kidding, i felt it was really worth it and delicious! daylight robbery, but they can rob me anyday with food that delicious! will definitely be coming back to voluntarily blow a hole in my wallet bc the food was really so good

Amazing meal, celebrated my brothers 28th birthday here and they made it a really special day. Food was fantastic & huge credit to Toni who was superb for us. First class experience, thank you guys.

We turned up at a busy time when there were no tables so were asked to come back in a hour and were glad we did. The guy serving us was super friendly. The pork belly ribs were really good but I loved the Hispi cabbage and Basil slaw. I had the Calamarata with tiger prawns, pistacchio and green chilli pesto, spianata salami, langoustine bisque, which was amazing. My friend had the Trofie allo Scoglio Cornish brown crab, baby squid, cod cheeks, tiger prawns, Shetland mussels, datterini and ginger which she loved.

Had heard good things in the past and SUD didn't disappoint! Staff were lovely and welcoming, and I appreciate them being understanding when we were running late. We ordered a main each and a half jug of the house white wine. I had the house sugo ragu which was absolutely delicious. Would definitely like to come back and try other dishes on the menu. Dishes are on the more expensive side but portion size and quality was worth it.
