Wonderful atmosphere and excellent food. Blows Wagamama out of water if you want genuine Japanese good look no further.
Waiting time was less than 5 minutes even though I came at lunch rush hour. Staff greeted us amusingly with drums, we got seated and the staff introduced us to the menu. The Japanese Chicken was delicious and warm, and the ramen was warm, soup tasted good with spring onions, perfect egg, pork and seaweed. Noodles were cooked nicely, not too soft and not too hard.
If you're ever in the mood for some scrumptious Ramen, I know just the place to go! It's a great spot that serves up a bowl of Ramen that's not only delicious but also super filling. You're gonna love it!
Went in for a late lunch during the weekends, the place always has good crowd, so I'd recommended making a reservation.
The staff are accommodating, and service is good. And they also ask about allergies in advance and recommend based on those and tell you what to avoid.
Started off with sakes and sodas, they're good along with their starters, we tried tempura, it was decent.
For mains, ramen is the way to go, but it is a lot. Ramen, broth and condiments all are good for a cold evening.
The staff hit the drums whenever a new party walks in, it's fun.
They also have their cup ramen menu available on their tables in case y'all want to buy one of those or you can ask the staff for what's available too.

Their ramen is good but I think the Must-Have is their Chicken skewer. They are incomparable, even better than their ramen.š¤£
They have 10% service charges, however I think it is not fair because they didnāt give me any service. I couldnāt even get anybody to get me a tap water.š„

Noodles were soft even tho we ordered hard, some were stuck together. The broth was okay.

The experience was amazing. The restaurant manager was so warm funny and attentive to our requests, the servers, bar tender and chefs were perfect. Even the trainee server was a pro, she was very kind and sweet! really really enjoyed the food, drink everything!!! Will recommend a thousand times and the prices are within range.
Whenever I go to Manchester I always try to get a table here for lunch. The service and food is amazing. Tables not always available due to high demand.

Decent ramen place and better than some places, would recommend going during deal times though as itās more worth for what you get. However do consider getting new chairs and tables, first seat I sat on rocked and so did the table so asked to change places. Then the chair for that one also rocked and had to change it, guess Iām just lucky š. Service was good.
After a long days work we needed to have this awesome ramen!! Staff were helpful, told us about the menu. Food was off the hook! Love it!!
We were stopping over in Manchester and had read reviews about Shoryu Ramen so that it was the place we called into for lunch as soon as we got into Manchester. The tonkotsu ramen were great as were the gyoza and bao buns. Service was very good with a great atmosphere of happy customers. Will definitely call in next time we are in Manchester. When are you opening in Leeds??
Tried shoryu for the first time yesterday and needless to say I was impressed!! The cutest little restaurant perfect for a date night with attentive staff who are happy to help with any queries! Me and my partner are both vegetarian so it can be hard to find a good ramen however this one was amazing!! The broth was so rich in flavour and extremely tasty!! My only complaint was as a vegetarian we eat eggs and we were told weād get charged Ā£2.50 extra for an egg when all other options already come with one for the same price! That being said, I would definitely go back to satisfy my ramen cravings!! If youāre thinking of visiting Shoryu, do it! :)
Ordered the meaty for two and was delicious.
As I ordered using Deliveroo it was not quite hot when I received it. They include in the order the instructions to reheat the food and was quite good to have the guidance.āŗļø
