Good food at a decent price, in a good location. One of the best outdoor areas of pubs and bars in Manchester, albeit still cold in winter even with the heaters on (not their fault really).
Vegan burger was tasty - not a fake meat burger, but mashed up veg and seasonings which makes for a more flavo

Booked a table for 6 sat lunch time - food was excellent and good prices. The service was great - the waitress looked after us and checked in on us for drinks etc and we weren't rushed. Will defo visit again. One member of party had allergies and they were very keen to make sure everything was OK

Called in for a drink to show some friends the bar. Usual JWLees beer range & the cask ales tried were on fine form! It's a well laid out pub & bar with plenty of space both inside & outside( the beer garden is excellent backing on to the canal)

It was a warm evening. Our party was often out on the South facing upper terrace, overlooking the canal. It was lovely to be there, reminiscent of Californian or Mediterranean evenings!

Best bar I've come across in Manchester. Visiting for a concert at the Bridgewater Hall, the pub is like a 60 second walk from it. Beautiful beer garden, great staff and the Manchester craft lager is lovely. Cant recommend enough. Will be back.
Really enjoyed our trip to Rain bar! It was a new find of mine and I was pleasantly surprised! Absolutely loved it, enjoyed sitting outside to eat as the weather was so nice! Lively city centre pub with excellent beer garden. Pub grub is standard fare. Beer is standard JW lees but when the weather is nice, the large seated beer garden is great.
