The best curries I've ever had. I've been coming here for at least 15 years and the food is always top quality. The coriander chutney that you get with the popadoms is insanely good. The decor is what it is. I like the old school charm of it. A real traditional curry house that still prides itself
Very delicious, atmosphere is very friendly and cosy. The food is phenomenal! We had the lamb chops and a curry with coconut which were delicious. They also have local Indian beer which really complemented the food.
Absolutely the best curry house ever Food was lovely Been going for years Never had a bad meal yet Food and drink great Loved it Great service as well.
My favourite local Indian. Consistently good food. Guys are very attentive and friendly.
Food was amazing, service was 2nd to none and the atmosphere was amazing helps having amazing company, food selection was amazing and will customise it to your liking, was my first time visiting and will be surly returning again soon...
Love this place. It's very small and it's a proper, traditional local curry house/tandoori restaurant. Yes, the decor is old-school but who cares? The food is excellent and very reasonably priced and the staff are lovely. There's a good range of the usual curries that people will recognise, but they
Wonderful restaurant, lovely staff Excellent chef. Very friendly sells alcohol first class place to dine
I have been a couple of times now and the food I ordered was OK. Although my partner ordered a beef ghosht dish when we last went here which I tried and it was amazing, just wish I chose that instead of the madras. Staff aren't very attentive, although it was pretty busy when we went. I will be goin
Lovely evening, friendly staff and nice food
Best curry in Manchester! Wonderful, attentive and friendly staff. Lovely, fresh food and great atmosphere and experience. We go at least twice a year and always highly recommend to everyone.
Every dish tasty from start to finish. Kept nice and hot with the warmers and a very cosy, quiet restaurant with wonderful waiters. Will definitely be returning and recommending to others! Update: have been back a couple of times and food is still delicious. Waiters are still wonderful, they don’t r
A real hidden gem in Blackley! The food here is just amazing, I've been to many many curry houses but this hands down is one of the best I have ever been to! The food is fresh hot and so damn tasty and the service is also excellent. Prices are so reasonable too. Cannot recommend this lovely little r
Lovely little traditional restaurant, been a while since we have been here but still gorgeous food and perfect service, what more could I say, if you've not tried here your on a losing streak ,its just the best and so cheap compared to other Indian restaurants,
Wow me and mrs cudnt be happier with this place, just gutted we havnt come sooner. Highly recommended ribs and cabbage house special and it is special trust!. Reasonably priced too. Waiters are polite and funny and even go the extra mile and serve your rice on the plate. Also complementary Bailey's
Standards maintained over 30 years. Still amazing food, standards have never dropped.
Went for the fist time last night. The meal was absolutely superb. One of the best currys I've had. Prices reasonable. Decor needs a look at though...dried flowers needs throwing etc. But will definitely be back. Keep up the good work.
Very authentic old skool Indian restaurant. Loads of period features and the food was lovely, only reason not 5 * is there are, dare I say, better tasting restaurants around. Having said that it was lovely, and folk seem to have an allegiance to the place so I'll give it another go!
