Great place Great music :) Loads of different ales on sale good place to take your other half for a little bite to eat and chill whilst head nodding to wonderful music played by real music lovers defo worth a look.
Food was fantastic!!!! Absolutely amazing and delicious, specifically the duck dumplings and the pork belly 😋Unsure who the staff were at times tho as they were all dressed casual so had to seek people out to place our orders, but all in all, me and my fiancé had the best date night which was made better by our dinner and held us in good stead for the rest of the night :)

Just sampled the new cocktail menu and it’s awesome, menu looks amazing drinks are tasty but boozy and their serves are beyond anything else in Manchester.
Food was incredible..... so tasty & different... the best meal I’ve had in a long time! Love the tapas style.. lots of different dishes!

My bestie won a competition for £250 for food and drink and we enjoyed every penny! Amazing food, service and atmosphere! Defiantly would go again for the food, drink and friendly service!
We had to wait about half an hour to get served and unfortunately being a saturday night the music was so loud we couldn't hear ourselves speak, but the waitress was pleasant and very helpful with the menu and the food was amazing when it came. I booked it online not knowing what to expect and thinking it would be a restaurant setting. However it's more of a bar and very understaffed and we would have preferred the dishes to come out gradually rather than all at once but all this was worth it for the food....delicious! Will definitely try again but maybe on a week lunch or night.

Some of the best food I have eaten in Manchester. Huge variety of crash fish and produce. Their KFC bao is to die for (not actually KFC..) Awesome staff and a great vibe!
We ordered the special sushi which was a mix from the kitchen. Fantastic!!! Nothing elaborate but what a difference uber fresh fish can make to the dish. And compliments to the chef who actually came to the table to personally find out for himself whether we had enjoyed his creations. Will return for the sushi!
We visited Cottonopolis after a recommendation from a friend. Really good atmosphere and service. The sushi was great and they have a good variety of meats for those that don't eat pork/ beef.
Some friends recommended it to me, I came to this Japanese and I will come back for sure, both Mike's attention and the supervision of his manager Alessia were great, at all times they were taking care of us and that we did not lack anything. We ordered some squid in tempura, Japanese barbeque sirloin, and some exquisite desserts, I enjoyed it a lot. We will be back for sure.

Bit too loud for my occasion but WOW some proper bar bites they’ve got. Get the Pork Adobo and the Short Rib. Ask for rice if you need to fill up more. Thank me later✨
Really great special dinner in Manchester! Has a bit of everything.. but mostly pan asian food! Best dish was the steak and the chilli squid by far. Wasnt hugely impressed with the sushi or the boa buns and the gyoza were very greasy but we put it down to them being lamb - everything was tasty and would go again
My friend took me there for a birthday dinner. I loved it. The food was amazing, it was a tapas style kind of portion. The decoration was nice. The staff were very nice to us. And the prices were great. I loved the spicy tuna
We had an amazing evening here and tasted the special 7 course menu they were running in January for £25!! What a deal.
It was really busy for a Monday night and the food is definitely the reason behind that! The crispy squid was my favourite dish the honey sauce was something out of this world. The pork gyoza was also probably the best I’ve ever had. We inhaled the food so quickly but unfortunately we were kept waiting on one of our courses for quite a bit of time. I believe we may have been forgotten about. However this didn’t spoil the evening and the food was worth the wait when it arrived.
Would love to come back and the young guy that served us was fab!
Atmosphere was really nice, central to Manchester, service was fantastic, would only say that the food didn't match the price bracket - it was good food but expected more for the price. I would say the sushi was top notch, wish we went for more!

We got the chance to look at the tasting menu and decide what we wanted to order. The food came at the right time and it was super nice and tasty. Service was good and the only reason that I’m not giving 5 stars it is because we were seated by the toilets and the e emergency exit were it was very cold
We had such an amazing dinner. The food and drinks were amazing. We were too excited/hungry to eat so missed the photos of dinner. We'll definitely come back. We ate the majority of the food so fast we forgot to take photos of it.

Based on multiple people recommending this place, I decided to heed the advice and book a table for a Valentine's Day. It was really unexpected and nice that they offered a floral bouquet service (paid for separately) that could have flowers ordered and delivered to the table before we arrived for the booking.
The table we were provided was a corner booth with seating up to 6 people (and the flowers), which was really awesome, thoughtful and gave us a lot of space for the plethora of dishes we were about to order.
The staff were attentive, sincere and responsive from start to finish. Usually, our experiences have varied with mid-meal menus or cheque requests, which can take a long time and you feel somewhat ignored and neglected -- this was absolutely not the experience at Cottonopolis. I've never felt more happy to pay the service charge.
We opted to go for 'a la carte' as opposed to the fixed price "Taste of Cotton" menu as we prefer to get whatever we like the sound of. A mixture of sushi yakitori, grilled greens, chicken katsu, fish, gyoza and even dessert was ordered.
We were recommended to order 3 plates each, which is a solid recommendation if you don't have a huge appetite - ordering about 5-6 plates with drinks and heavier sides/dishes like rice, bao buns is more suitable if you want to feel full at some point in the evening!
Looking forward to coming back and trying the other items!
It was our first time in Manchester and we had a lovely time. I had pre-booked our table about a month in advance which was beneficial as they were very full up.
It was my partners Birthday last night and I phoned cottonpolis to see if I can bring a cake with me to celebrate my partners Birthday and they said yes which was very nice of them. Sar lit the candles and brought it out. Thank you very much Sar!
Having arrived we had already thought about what we were going to order but as we went to order there was a couple of items that weren't available so therefore we asked the waitress (Sar) for her recommendations and we trusted her and omg we were amazed about the quality of the food and the presentation of the food too.
