Quirky mexican place. I had the hallumi tacos which were tasty but I would definitely recommend ordering something else with it as on their own its not enough to fill you up. My friends ordered burritos which looked epic. You can also get cocktails from here. I would go here at the start of a night out.

Gotta say I was a bit cautious given some reviews but I've got only good things to say about the place! Super nice staff, very quickly served and tacos were a delight! It's a bit noisy as it's an evening out spot for groups so if you're looking for a quiet date spot this isn't it. Great place! Definitely recommend

I was in drawn in from the outside (not from the area) and was not disappointed! The staff were really friendly and attentive and it had a quality atmosphere. The drinks were really nice and the nachos were the best I've ever had! Only had the nachos as a snack but the food looked really nice too! Would definitely recommend and I'll be going back next time I'm in town.

We went for their Taco Tuesday and it was very busy. Luckily, we have booked a table. Very straightforward concept of ordering; a small menu (a list of tacos) is already on the table and you just write down the quantity. If you're familiar in having dim sum in a dim sum restaurant, that was exactly like it. Food came fast and they were all as explained in the menu. Our favourite was the Cheeky Chicken, Cali Cauli, It's Fishy and Badboy Beef Chilli. Service was excellent all the way through. Would visit again.

I’ve recently been to El Capo twice for their “Tacos for Days” offer! This is their usual Tuesday and Wednesday night menu but they’ve extended it through the week for Jan and Feb. Tacos start at just £1 for fillings like chicken and go up to £2.50 for steak. They have halloumi, cauliflower and fish fillings for those who are on a more vegetarian or pescatarian diet. The choices are great and super flavoursome with the pork tacos being my favourite followed by the Corona fried fish! Delicious. They also do a bloody good margarita and their drinks offerings are amazing. The service is quite casual, as expect from the Northern Quarter and the tacos come out as soon as they’re ready pretty much. Overall a great dining experience and vibe for a mid week treat. Out last visit the bill came to £38 and we had 2 soft drinks and 8 tacos each between two of us…so very reasonable! The quality of these tacos are unreal…worth a visit!
