We chose to have my husbands 65th birthday celebrations at WOH because they've never let us down. There were 13 of us on Saturday. Lauren who attended the room we were in was very efficient ,helpful and reassuring to me-a stressed out wife of the birthday boy. The manager that day was very professional in dealing with our guest who was unhappy with her steak. The food was great and so was the service. My husband had a wonderful time-we were there for 4 hours and were made to feel very welcome.
Had a great Sunday roast here! Great service and a beautiful building full of character. Good range or drinks available too. 4 stars simply because parking is an absolute nightmare with lack of adequate spaces and cars parked along the grass verge etc.
We booked the private dining room for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary and we were not disappointed. The food, the venue and the atmosphere were wonderful, and the private room made the evening very special. From the moment we arrived Hannah and the team were amazing. So kind, helpful, courteous and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. Hannah in particular was outstanding. She made everyone feel comfortable and at ease, and made my parents feel very special and looked after. An absolutely unforgettable event, that was made perfect by Hannah and the team. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Worsley Old Hall to celebrate any special occasion and we will definitely be back! Thank you for everything, and a special thank you again to Hannah!

Lovely, spacious dining rooms. Well equipped and presented. Good outside spaces. Small varied menu which means better fresh food. Can't find fault. Will definitely be going again with friends.
Lovely atmosphere and staff all very friendly. It was busy and we hadn't booked as it was a spontaneous drop in after meeting my friend nearby. They found us a table straight away. It is dog friendly too and they offered a bowl of water which was very thoughtful. The menu had a large choice with some interesting things on it. The food was presented nice, but I thought it was quite expensive in comparison to other places. I would definitely return if in the area though, I'd recommend trying.
This place is stunning with all the different parts you can eat or enjoy a drink. I thoroughly enjoyed my food which was fish and chips. My Husband had the beef suet pudding. His plate came out and the pudding had completely collapsed, it was a mess. It had definitely been in a microwave. It also was boiling hot
Beautiful place and full of atmosphere. The service and food were excellent. Would definitely go back when I'm in the area. There is a lovely beer garden (weather permitting) that I didn't get the chance to experience but it looked lovely... Dog friendly too.
We booked a private dining room for a family 70 th Birthday dinner last night - it was just brilliant. We were looked after by Matthew who was quick and attentive. Staff brought the cake in and sang Happy Birthday- just great.

Beautiful location and building. Finding a parking spot was very very easy. Although I do have one complaint. I ordered Pad Thai and they weren't able to remove the onions and I absolutely hate onions. The food also took like 50 minutes for some reason but oh well I'm a nice person so it's gonna be 4 stars instead of 3.

Nice meal and beautiful surroundings. Good selection on the menu and food of a high quality. Great selection of beers.
1 star off for service. When presented with the card machine for the bill it had the %s to add for a tip. I said “15” to which the server took as £15 and not 15%. I didn’t notice until I was back at the hotel and seen the charge on my card. £15 was about a 30% tip! 😄 Ah well, never mind, I hope it made the servers night but one to watch out for.
