Very welcoming and cosy, great atmosphere, all staff very helpful and friendly, extensive home cooked menu at very reasonable price, we all had Sunday roast which was cooked and presented to perfection, would recommend to all and we will revisit in the near future.

We dine here from time to time. If we want a ride out its always our place of choice. This is a traditional pub full of original fixtures and fittings and we love the quirkiness. This place is fantastic.
Not posh but it doesn't try to be which is a good thing IMHO. Friendly staff serving good drinks and home made food. My father and I have had several meals here and never been disappointed. They do some great deals here too.

Excellent pickles. Fair to middling coleslaw. Chips could have been done a bit more. Matthew didn't offer me a bite of his burger. Tripped on the way in!

Food is generally really good in here. Value for money. Tonight service was slow and staff not great. Sometimes it let's itself down.

Great home cooked food,home made salt and pepper chips were amazing... Only downside interior of pub is dated, needs upgrade.
