Akbar's - Manchester - Photo album

Always a crazy but positive experience at Akbars the curry is the best around and the staff are fantastic at what they do. Well worth a visit to have the vibrant experience, be prepared for a wait but there is a bar and seating. Was a bit rushed at the end as a big party needed the table but we we
I have been to many Akbar’s restaurants around the country and I have never had a bad meal yet and Manchester was no exception. The food was very delicious, I recommend the lamb chops for starters they are really good. I had the chicken tikka masala which had a nice edge to it and their famous famil
Lovely food and friendly efficient service, nice atmosphere, always busy.
A lovely place to dine in, bring your friends and family and laze about while enjoying amazing traditional Indian food. Akbar’s never fails to have great food with quality taste and I will be coming back very soon! The waiters were very kind and attentive.
The Chicken Nambali from here is a must get in my opinion. One of the best places to go for a Lamb Karahi. Always fresh and full of flavour every time paired with a family garlic naan is a great meal. Tried the Chicken Tikka Makhani last time and if you’re someone who likes a sweet curry then you
Food was beautiful. Service was slightly off as they forgot a few items on the order but server was lovely. Great place. Tbf it was packed out so can't blame em for it
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Just go if you really looking for authentic Indian food! This is the best so far I have found in England ( coz am from london, yea I been been to most popular ones only and can’t say they are even close to Akbar’s) This was recommended by a dear friend and during this trip of
Attended for a work event and was impressed by the quality of food, we had a set menu and you got a large starter, 4 curries w/rice & dessert. And they serve the largest naan breads I’ve ever seen, well worth the visit if you like Indian food.
They have the best lamb chop in Manchester. The quality of food is excellent.
Wow, paid £43 between me and my Mrs and we were full to the brim (for context we eat a lot)…Had enough leftovers to take away as well! Food was authentic and tasty, service was good - they brought us fruits at the start to break our fast in Ramadan as well. 5 stars all around
Came for iftari, love it was served on time, ordered weeks lamb chops an fish masala, the food was lush warm tasty and full of flavours, for main we ordered a chicken jalfrezi and bhindis wow the bhindis were cooked to perfection the chicken was ok could have been better. Why 5 starts the waiter tha
I’ve been coming here for as long as I remember and the starters are still the best of an Indian/Pakistani restaurant anywhere in the UK, it’s got such a good reputation for it that you’re best off getting them as your mains too The curry mains are a bit watered down compared to the Bradford branch
Food quality and taste is very good, so as the service but it's very noisy and congested. We struggle to hear each other even if we are sitting close together. I visited them 2-3 times, weekend and weekdays but since it's popular and has a good food, it was always noisy and congested.
