The flavours and quality of the food will have me coming back for more! I’ve ate from here for like 26 yrs and it’s only got better with time!

We have a furniture re use business round the corner and my staff have been raving about this place for ages. This is good honest home cooking enough food to keep hard working removal men going all day and high standard to keep the bosses happy too !
I have been going for years the food is nice.. the dumpling are delicious and for the cost u got a lot of dumpling 😂 I have yet to try the split I will definitely do that on my next visit… ✌🏽
One of the best Caribbean food places and longest established, ive been eating chicken runs food for over 30 years. Since it first started out in a residential house back in the 1990s.
I got a few things from here the chickens splits are beautiful allways the piping hot i also got curry goat nice large portion it was stone cold tho and very dry barely any gravy and the flavours wernt there like they served us food cooker days before

From the delicate blends of spices to sumptuously soft and flaky pastry of the patties this great place has something for everyone. From hand made, fresh patties dinners and cakes you'll always be coming back for more and why not wash it down with some of their homemade juices.
The staff are amazing and some complain about the small wait but for me it just adds to the excitement when you finally get to eat. If this doesn't become one of your staples once a week you've no food sense at all.

The food is 10/10, the staff are great, but those chicken spilts are power 💯
Excellent Carribbean eatery!! This place was recommended by a friend whilst I was in Manchester.
The food was delicious 👌🏿 I had the fish, jerk chicken, chicken split, veg, pineapple cake, banana cake, pineapple punch and loved every bit of it.
The next time I am in Manchester, I'll definitely go back. This place is highly recommended, you won't regret trying it out.
Well, these must be the biggest longest Dumplings I have had the pleasure to taste. Albeit the most expensive at £1.20.
Order curry goat with rice and peas, a dumpling. Also a chicken split meal. Curry goat cook well and fell off the bone.was nice but lacked a kick in terms of flavour. Also not enough sauce for the amount of rice provided. Chicken split had very little flavour to the chicken in the dumpling, small portion of fries thrown in and a hot wing.
Nice vibe and cool people working there. Chicken split is really tasty but think you'd have a heart attack if you ate more than one (in your life).
Absolutely amazing as always. A true Moss Side Culinary Institution. Great good, great service and always a good atmosphere. A must, if you are in the area.
