1st time we're been in a long time & it didn't disappoint. The food was delicious & staff lovely & friendly. Also great value 4 money we all left stuffed & happy!

My partner and I visited Khandoker for dinner for the first time on Friday and I can say with utmost certainty that it won’t be our last. From the moment we walked in, the staff were super friendly, attentive and approachable. The atmosphere is cosy and the restaurant maintains a very high level of cleanliness. The menu is extensive, filled with authentic Indian cuisine for every taste preference.
Kameron was absolutely brilliant and hugely helpful, truly going above and beyond to tailor the experience to make each customer feel valued. He was extremely accommodating in guiding us through our menu choices and I was particularly impressed to discover how well they cater for a variety of dietary needs, with incredible vegan and gluten free options. Simply advising him on the type of flavours we were in the mood for, he provided a fantastic selection of dishes, and when they arrived, not a single dish disappointed. The portions are generous, very reasonably priced and of a spectacular standard.
The food is phenomenal, with high quality fresh ingredients that fit our tastes to perfection. I am a huge fan of spicy food while my partner favours milder flavours and they catered to both of us phenomenally. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire meal - the service is exceptional, food is amazing, the cleanliness is impeccable, and we will most definitely be returning again to check out more of their options. I am so glad to have discovered this gem of a restaurant and would highly recommend. It has most definitely become a favourite and will be our new go-to for Indian cuisine.
Great curry. If you are at the Waterside Hotel for a night and fancy a curry it's a 5 minute walk. Been at the hotel 3 nights, had 3 Tandoker suppers!!
Been around for years! Love this place definitely worth a visit. Loved the murgi nomuna with taka dhal. Will be back soon!
One of the best restaurants I've been to in Manchester. Very classy! I saw a few united players last time I was there! Managed to get a few autographs!

I'm a curry fanatic and would rate Khandoker as a place to eat a good curry. It's above average so if you're in the area not a bad choice! 3 of us had 4 dishes, rice, naans and chapatis, 3 beers and a couple of deserts, just under £50, so no idea why people say it's that expensive. Curry is on the mild side even for the hot dishes.

Just got back from an evening meal at Khandoker tonight and we thoroughly enjoyed every bit of our food. The Madras was just the right amount of spice and the onion bhajis were delicious and crispy!!! Everything was full of flavour 😊
Really good food! Have had madras and butter chicken here plenty of times. Best butter chicken ever. Both chicken and lamb are very tender.
Don’t go to the one next door which is their takeaway counterpart - for some reason the taste is not even comparable despite being owned by the same family.
Never sat down but the staff are always nice and chatty when I get a takeout. Please could we lower the prices a bit for takeaway? 😁
Called in spontaneously after a trip to the cinema. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated straight away. Service was excellent throughout our visit, food was fresh, delicious & good portions. This was our first visit, and we will definitely be returning.
Absolutely love this place. We order take away from the restaurant often and it never disappoints. The food is always cooked fresh and is super tasty. They do all the vegetable sides so well! (Actually difficult to find an Indian restaurant that still does all of these as sides). Such good value for money and staff are always friendly. Would highly recommend.
We visited tonight with my husbands cousin and aunt. Absolutely brilliant. Good service, the most amazing food....so tasty and fresh.......just lovely......we will be visiting again ASAP.
Ordered once a week for the last few weeks now and all times really consistent! Have to say this is the best massala around town, so flavoursome and in depth! All the sides and sundries are lovely too! Definitely recommend
Ordered takeaway from here tonight all the way to Offerton. Food was really tasty, portions were good and we all enjoyed it. Would definitely order from here again.
Not been here since the 80s. Food was amazing and served with great care and attention. Won’t be leaving it so long next time! I’m not local but will definitely travel to come here again

I went with a couple of work colleagues. We have been trying out many different Indian restaurants in the south Manchester area for several years. This time it was the turn of khandoker. The food was spot in. I had lamb Naga and the lamb was meat not fatty at all and the Naga had some decent heat to it, unlike a lot of other places. The onion rice was great, and I could have eaten that on its own. As is usua with these jaunts, we were there early doors on a Wednesday and the restaurant wasn't busy, so difficult to comment on the service, but what we had was good and very friendly. I will certainly go back there again, and one of the colleagues has family in the area and has recommended khandoker to them. Overall a good evening well spent.
