I've been going here for maybe 30 years. It's been consistently good and really has not changed.
The food is amazing. The service is quick and friendly. Now, when we go, we sit in and eat lunch and order a takeaway for us and our daughters' families and drop them into them on the way home. It's a 3 hour round trip for us but worth every minute and mile to get such amazing food.
A well established cafe that serves authentic food.The food is always delicious,lamb chops are excellent and so are the curries.Lamb karahi is my favourite and there is a selection of coriander,chillies and ginger which you can help yourself to,to accompany your meal
Rough and ready, but the food is amazing, especially the chicken tikka kebabs. Eat and go or takeaway.
This place is delicious. Really authentic and full of oil curries, lol. If you care about aesthetics, or going on a date or want to impress your mates, I wouldn’t eat here as the tables and chairs alone will be too dainty and cheap for you. But if you want to just have good hearty grub, it’s the place to go.

This is one of the oldest Asian restaurants in Manchester. They are only open for Lunch and really a hole in a wall place with great food with friendly service. Back again for Daal. Love the taste. They are open onlu for lunch.
Absolutely amazing food and a nostalgic atmosphere, reminiscent of my growing up days. We don't see many curry houses like this anymore.
It was promising from the moment I walked into the restaurant.
The daily menu had classical dishes like karahi lamb, chicken karahi, keema mattar, BBQ chops etc.
The staff are genuine, friendly and down to earth and food is fresh and authentically tasty, like a 'dabha'.
I ordered lamb karahi off the bone, chicken tikka, tandoori rotis, desi tea. Everything was tasty and freshly made.
I'd highly recommend this place to anyone. Don't judge a book by it's cover!
They are welcome every time and the food is consistently excellent sooo tasty 😋 never been disappointed in over 15 years of getting takeout or sit down. Love there food it’s fal l of the bone meat it’s like braised meat. So succulent and tender. Mouth watering just typing about this place
