First time trying ethiopian cuisine and was so delicious. We ordered the mosob which is selection of meat and vegetarian dishes. And traditional coffee, took some time to arrive but ……Staff were very friendly.

We had been recommended the Bebeaynetu meat platter for 3 with Injera rolls, Injera may be a little too spu
Extremely friendly and helpful service. Our waitress, Samrawit helped us understand the menu and any food we weren't familiar with, have us excellent recommendations. Food and drinks all came quickly.

Decided to try this place out for my short stay in Manchester due to the excellent reviews on Google. After my experience I completely understand why they are so good. Lovely independent restaurant run by very friendly and helpful staff. The food was very tasty and portions very generous. The experience was made even more enjoyable by the staff who were happy to provide details on what everything was and lots of cultural background info. We were given small shots
After a day shopping in Manchester we decided to stay for dinner. A quick google search found the Asmara Bella close by. Neither of us had ever eaten Eritrean or Ethiopian food so we thought we should give it a try.

Coming from North London we assumed it would be hard to compete in manchester, but this place competes with londons best. Cannot recommend enough. Even gave us extra in a takeaway box.
Our first time in an Ethiopian restaurant and we were very glad we went to Asmara Bella. The food is fresh, tasteful and good. The owner is nice and hospitable. Try the shared platter, that way you will get a good impression of the Ethiopian dishes

Our favourite Habesha restaurant in Manchester, the hospitality is warm and welcoming, great service and the food is amazing, order the Ethiopian beer and share a platter, you won’t regret it… oh and don’t forget to try the honey wine.
First time I've had Eritrean food. I had the mixed platter with a bit of everything. (You rip up the bread/pancake thing and use it to eat the rest). It was really good and quite different from anything I'd had before. Nice atmosphere too and pretty reasonable price!
Service was a bit slow. But my god it was worth the wait. Food was absolutely delicious. I had the Shekla Tibsi Special. Plenty of options for meat eaters and vegetarians. Will definitely be coming back
