Our first time here today. Overall food choices were good, quality was good too. Service was efficient and friendly. We were greeted at reception and on a way out stuff was super nice. Loads of stuff around if you have a question to ask or have a problem. Always great to see stuff out and about, not one or two people on a floor run off theit feet. Our drinks were served promptly, however my drink wasn't that nice. I asked for amaretto and coke, drink came too strong. On a downside some foods like desert and sushi choices were very very poor. Could do with some improvement or we just came when all was eaten. Still it has to be replenished I think. Definitely will be back if nearby. Place was super busy when we came and stayed like this throughout our stay.

Really nice buffet with a wide range of food, was really delicious, definitely will visit again. Only negativ thing is the way of service, you pay upfront for the food and then separately for drinks. We ordered our drinks, went to get food , we started eating and then the waiter showed up with the terminal to pay for the drinks, weird. What if you want to order more, why can not you pay when you finished … but overall nice experience, and really tasty food.

We’ve been here quite a few times over the years and it’s always been good. Lots of choice, the food is always hot and attentive wait staff. The only downside is that there is no air conditioning so if you visit on a warm day, it’s absolutely sweltering inside. The disco toilets are always a hit with my daughter.

I love this restaurant 😍 there's so much choice of food, cooked fresh, always hot and tasty. The staff are friendly and helpful. A decent bar with a choice of drinks.

I've been at a lot of restaurants in the UK, and I have to say this is one of the best ones out there!
Quantity, Quality and a decent price!
You pay at the entrance for the food, and you only pay for the drinks when you're at the table, I've tried a bit of everything, some pork ribs,Chicken with curry, Beef, Pork, Dim Sum, Rice with eggs, Hong Kong Noodles, some chips.... There's a lot more, I recommend the Zombie Cocktail, oh and HAVE TO recommend the prowns they make and the pineapple is amazing as well!
The staff was also friendly and the place looks great inside, in my opinion is perfect for a family gthering!
Definitely will come here again!

It is one of the buffet in manchester.
I like the fresh grilled steaks and browns.
Hala food is there and sign is clear in front of each plate.
The one note is the drinks should be included in the buffet.
Around 60£ for 2 adults and two kids (4,6)

NOT BAD AT ALL!
It's an Asian themed restaurant, and as a Chinese man myself - the food is pretty stereotypically what you'd find in most Chinese takeaways. I can happily confirm that whilst quite a lot of it is fried, it is pretty authentic, with the flavours catering to more western tastes. So there's not too much explosive chilli and the saltiness is slightly higher on the savoury dishes. They also add a little bit more sugar on the sweeter dishes, again for western tastes.
I'm so glad they're not dumping a whole load of MSG on their food, which I find disgusting anyway.
It's all you can eat, so be sure to try everything there. The sushi comes recommended, as does any crispy shredded pork or beef.
If you're boring, they also have chicken nuggets and chips, but you can find that anywhere.
The decor is very modern-Oriental and the food is laid out very nicely and in a logical order.
The drinks are a little pricey, hence why it's 4 stars not 5, but overall, you won't be disappointed here.

I started at 6.06pm and first of all you need to pay before entering the dining hall.
The staff are respectful. Also you need to pay for drinks separately. By that time of the day, it was not crowded. It however fills up really quick. The turnover is high anyway so as more customers come in some leave.
The dishes are varieties and so options are plentiful. For me the dishes were nice and nicely warm-to-hot.
I definitely will be back. I love this place.

This place is amazing. My daughter been before, so as a family with 2yr old grandchild in toe we decided to go .opens at 16:30pm, we did pre-book because of how popular and busy it. Its all you can eat buffet for £19 each ,we didn't have to pay for grandson. Every kind of food. The massive chocolate fountain ⛲ was tops. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Only down the drinks not included.

So much to choose from! I was in my element at this place, the quality of food was good! I would definitely recommend and I’d visit again if I was in the area! You pay for the buffet at the reception in the way in and then drinks can be purchased at the table while your seated. Friendly staff and a unique robot carrying plates around.

We visited this location this past weekend and had a decent experience overall. While there seemed to be fewer options available when compared to previous visits, the food was excellent and the staff were very nice. The strange music playing in the background was a bit odd, but it didn't detract from the quality of the food. It's worth noting that the selection may be limited if you visit after 4:30, and the price may also be higher at that time. Despite these issues, we still enjoyed our meal and would consider returning in the future.

Good place. Good food - well arranged buffet. Really good ambience. Staff were polite and efficient in clearing used plates timely. You pay for drinks, and drinks were reasonably priced.
Food variety, even the kids, are not left out.
Didn't like the ice cream, tho.
Loved a particular chocolate cake.
Loads of options for cakes.
22pounds.
Kids 11/12 pounds.

I’ve rated this 1star, only because of Selection of foods and Lovely Friendly Bar Staff. Only one waiting staff that actually managed to Smile. On entering your greeted with a lovely eye catching scenery and Some Ignorant reception staff. After demanding are payment before we could enter the Zoo. Myself 3more adults and 4 children under 12, were seated. Along comes a waiter to ask us for are drinks order only he will only take this order you then have to leave your table to pay for the drinks at the bar. What’s the point!!! Food was average, Mussels we’re rubbery rice dish no flavour. Prawns which deep fried with there peel left on, they were OFF absolutely disgusting smelled Vile clearly not edible. Mentioned this to waiting staff and they just smiled at Me. Today good job I only had 1 . We are Never Ever Ever going back. 0*star rating

Visited on the 22nd of November with 2 others and was instantly impressed by the rather grand looking entrance, however shortly after this we were greeted by two rather blunt receptionists who we didn't find particularly welcoming. After being given our tickets after paying on entry we headed down towards the resteraunt floor, we were then greeted by another lady who again wasn't particularly welcoming. This lady took our tickets and sat us down at our table. It was at this point that our experience improved drastically as a young male waiter made his way over to us and asked us if we would like to order a drink .His service was excellent all the way through the meal regularly asking if he could clear and plates and if we would like any more drinks etc , he spoke in a very polite way and made us feel like the only customers in the room. As our meal was ending I noticed that the young waiter had a name badge on saying he was a trainee, it was this that inspired me to leave a review in a hope that he as a trainee would be recognised for his hard work.
In summary the food was good there was plenty of choice and everything was hot.Unfortunately the blunt receptionists started the meal of badly, but Tom the young waiter who served us made the experience great so we will probably return
Thanks again Tom

Gradually getting worse on the 'live cooking' station.
No udon noodles, though still advertising them
Told the chef not to put pepper on my steak, he repeated my request out loud.... then promptly put pepper on it.
Put black pepper sauce on the previous steak for someone else, then tried to use the same utensils on my fresh pepper-free steak. No concept of cross contamination

We visited in a large party of 30 people for a birthday last Saturday night. It was extremely busy in the whole restaurant and even though we had booked well in advance tables had not been reserved for us! This was very disappointing and would not have been difficult to do. Most of us fortunately managed to sit together and the staff helpfully and hurriedly put tables together for us.
We could not fault the food -there is so much choice and it is all fresh and good quality food. I chose huge mussels, crispy duck pancakes and a king prawn masala curry and it was all delicious. As I was the designated driver, not drinking, I also visited the dessert section -yum! Bar service was very efficient and reasonably priced too. It is good value for money but I would not recommend a large party to go on a very busy Saturday evening.

Served undercooked RAW Chicken! Spoke to two waiters! Not one of them interested! They tried to pass it off as marinade when in fact it was extremely raw and gooey inside! The manager was very cocky and confrontational when confronted and all of the staff wore a “if you don’t like it then leave” attitude! You have to pay before you eat and we could not have our money back! I tried to take the chicken away to prove it was raw and I was obviously refused! I knew, the staff knew, the surrounding guests knew that it was raw! If you want to see the picture DM me! But do not do not do not! Eat here!

Used to be our favourite place to go for our kids birthdays an other family members! Even filled my loyalty card a few times. Was always the place to go for a treat. Even our friends who live in Liverpool would drive down an meet us their. So on Saturday 4th November our friends came to see us an we decided to go to TOPS! It was extremely busy we had to qui for half an hour. We didn't mind as we enjoy it that much their. We was seated an myself an my friend both went to the meat cooking station (that was our favourite) steak & prawns with noodles an veg. We both sat down to eat. I started to eat mine an said it didn't taste the same like it used to! An my friend said the same. An then I found a very long black hair in my food! (I am blond) I just took it of my plate an didn't complain. As I understand in places like this it can happen. I then continue to eat an then found another hair! A short black one!! My husband then got up to complain. The manger came over with his torch on his phone looking in my food an also on the floor for the first one I found. He then walked of with both hairs. None of us wanted to finish our meals so we walked to the door an asked the manager for our money back. We had spent £72 on food an £25 on drinks. We only had 1 plate of food each. And our glasses was absolutely filthy dirty. His response was I need to look on the cameras to see if I had put the hair in my own food! I was utility disguised in this. We was waiting a while so went with my friend an put the children in the car while my husband waits to see what the outcome will be. He had been around 10 mins so I went to see what they was doing. An to my surprise the manager said to my husband if you give me my food back I will give you your money back an laughs in his face! An accuse me of putting 2 black hairs in my dinner. Walked of an called the police! This was shocking I couldn't believe what I was witnessing. We was made to stand in the cold until the police arrived. When the police arrived the listened to their side of the story then mine. They was told to give me a full refund of £15.99 but as for everyone els they would have to fill out a complaint form! This was absolutely disgusting behaviour from such a large company. The place has gone down hill. An we will never return. I think management need improve their costumer skills. Or re think who they hire! Never in my life have I been treated like that by anybody especially from a restaurant!!!!!

we got to a table straight away the food was really nice my only problem was we had to wait nearly 15 minutes for are drinks & a group of kids we're running riot while people were getting food & they wasn't told to stop by the members of staff knowing that they were packed with people walking round with hot plates of food & drinks from the bar.... health & safety is a issue
Margaret Bambrick Roberts
The Chicken and sweetcorn soup was warm and watery, there was no seaweed.. Waited 15 mins for them to bring out Crispy duck. There was no King Prawns in Garlic even thou there was a sign for it. The quality of the food has deteriorated over the pass 6 months.
Over all experience was not good.

Amazing food, choice and service! Couldn’t recommend this place more, will definitely come back again!

Total rubbish we were told we had to mins before closing got 1 plate of food but when went for second one they were all empty and full.of hot water complained to manager who was a complete knob and didnt listen wont ever go again

I really didn't want to give it a one. Literally worst place to eat EVER. I wouldn't even call it a good range of food. I've been to buffets like wings in hull that has anything and everything.
Overpriced and crap, been feeling rubbish since I ate here last night and to top it off the steaks I waited 25 minutes for, we're not even cooked properly. I'm also not a salmon expert but I know that it is not supposed to crispy and rock solid. The sushi guy was sat on the floor on his phone. The deserts were warm and sogy.
This place is a mess, and a joke. What also concerned me was the amount of flies that were hovering around (It's winter).
We expected a lot more from this place, they should just close and let it be a shop or something.
Jack Sweeney
The food was lovely can't fault that.
The waiters are why I've rated it a 3star there not really friendly they don't smile (service with a smile) when your ordering a drink they are demanding the money and following you around whilst getting your food for the payment for the drinks if they sort out the waiters side of that place then it would get a 5star
Delroy Thomas Costello
Very poor value for money based on the selection of food available. Nice decor, but it feels like thats what your paying for. The "italian" section was a cheese and tomato pizza, and one with pinapple on. Not impressed.
Vicky Swainbank
Thought it was expensive for not very good food, service was excellent but tough meat and I'm not sure if the chicken was actual chicken. The nicest thing was the mushrooms...not a place I would think of going back to

Absolutely terrible. Was shocked by the poor quality of food, there may be a wide variety of food but, don’t be fooled as it is the worst of the worst. As I began everything was average but about an hour later I felt as thought I needed to be sick. Would strongly recommend you to stay away from this place. Never again will I be visiting.

Last night I experienced something extraordinary there - the finest cooking and the amicable service. To merely say it's a nice buffet is a gross understatement. Couldn't expect more! Hungry for more!

Restaurant dishes are very delicious.Restaurant owner is nice. The price is very reasonable. This is a restaurant worth trying.I will come here to eat next time.

Went here for a company meal. My wife ate crab which turned out to be still frozen in the middle. 40 minutes later she was unconscious with food poisoning. First aid and medical response was appalling. Still undergoing tests.

We went here as craving a good hungover feed. Call me a food snob but it was good 'for a buffet restaurant'. Pretty standard ambiance and food- nothing outstanding but it was all good and definitely a good selection even though the open kitchen was closed (we were given half price and definitely felt that we had our money's worth!)

The Tops was very impressed where food provided was very rich and colourful but tasty and fresh. I would like to come again next time when visiting Manchester.
Cheryll Brocklehurst
Very disappointed.. we booked a table for a large group of us to pre theatre dine.. I rang to check that they had the booking and was assured they had.. when we got there the restaurant was closed even though the opening time said 5pm and our table was booked for 5.30pm. Feel very let down and wouldn't recommend this restaurant as they obviously don't value their customers. There were lots of other people stood outside with young children waiting too...

It is supposed to be world buffet but it mostly has chinese food. Vegetarian options are really less. Even those are not very well made. The starters had the usual onion rings, fries, which looked quite oily. For the mains, there are chinese and indian options. Veg jalfrezi and tofu and vegetables were ok. Veg pilau rice was undercooked. There was a live cooking station but it mostly had non veg options and I was not sure if they would cook the veg separately. Desserts were average.
Susana Sofia Pito
Tops are the typical restaurant that you go to eat like the world is going to end tomorrow. The food is regular and the price it's ok. I went in a Saturday's lunch and it was a giant buffet, a lot of plates, but for what people told me dinner has a lot of meat to eat to offer.
Zaki Armen
Over 300 international food to choose from i didn't manage to try all of them but was impress on the dishes! The Mongolian beef and the duck is a must try!!
Le Clap
Good quality buffet food. The Chinese and Thai food is to a high standard however I was a little disappointed with the quality of the Indian food. It's a good place if you need somewhere quick to eat with children in tow.
