Lovely place
We were in town to see Hall and Oates in concert and were staying near this place. Eight of us popped in last Sunday afternoon intending to just have a drink while we waited for a friend who hadn’t yet arrived.
We ended up staying for over three hours and we all had a meal and everyone complimented the food. Various dishes, all excellent all arrived together with the minimum of fuss.
We were seated together at a table with a tv at the end of it for the footy. The staff were all very friendly as was the atmosphere inside.
We staggered out and were pleased it was just a short walk to the Arena !
If we are ever in Manchester again we all agreed we would return to this great place.
Popped in on the off chance they were still serving food. Never heard of the place before. Food stopped being served at 9pm so we got our order in quick time and oh my god was it good. Literally the best surf and turf burger I've ever had. The cocktails did the job, tasty and intoxicating. Definitely recommend.
Another trendy bar in Central Manchester close to The Arndale Centre and The Printworks. Lots of lovely cocktails where I had the best cocktail I've ever had, a Coconut Expresso @ £9.50 yum.
Friendly staff. Limited beer, but sell Blue Moon, if you like a spiky blonde beer.
I love this place! I’ve been here a few times now, came in for lunch today. Food was absolutely stunning and the prices are very reasonable! We were served by Danielle who was lovely and attentive. Will be back soon! 🫶🏻
An absolute great time was had at Shack. Poached eggs and bacon on sourdough was absolutely banging, especially as I made the excellent decision to add smoked salmon (extra £3 but a good portion).
The staff were really friendly, and nothing was too much trouble.
Also, £35 for two meals and four drinks? Bargain.
We attended the red solo cup country night at lost weekend and it was a great time. The music was fantastic, bar was busy but service was as quick as possible. Which was reasonable unless someone ordered cocktails. They take time and care preparing their cocktails so it's fair enough. Prices were reasonable for town and other than a broken door the facilities were fine. It was down a flight of stairs as it is the event venue next door, didn't see any disabled access but wasn't particularly looking. Also hoping the guy who asked me to take his photo sees this 🤣
Overall was good - there was a bit of a mess up of our order (something to do with a new menu) and we all ended up with wrong food. The staff were more than understanding but the majority of the table ate what we got which was a breakfast baguette / and it was really good!
Had a team meal here for our annual Christmas get together, lovely staff, very attentive and great drinks selection. Food was great and generous portions, would recommend 👌
My wife and I went with 4 of our family on a Sunday at lunchtime. We all had different things, which some of us are in the habit of 'trying out'. All dishes were really tasty and well cooked. Good portion size too. Although variations on a theme, as with most eateries now, the menu choices were pleasantly different.
The staff were really pleasant & welcoming and the service pretty quick. The restaurant was only half full but very attractive and relaxed.
Thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommended.
Went for bottomless brunch was seated downstairs it was a bit quiet but it was a sunday. The staff were great and served drinks quickly I would definitely recommend coming here and £40 each was well worth it. I had the burger which was really nice
Amazing food. I could eat their Avocado Brunch every day. Usually get it delivered and it always arrives perfectly prepared and nicely presented. The herbs they use are always super fresh and that’s a tiny but important detail. Nice place to eat in as well, with a few great burgers. Lovely staff. And to the kitchen guys, thanks for making those avocado toasts so yummy:)
