Thornberries Bar And Grill - Manchester - Photo album

This pub has just been done up and it looks nice although a little bland. Could maybe use a few pictures on the walls or something to break it up. Doom Bar on draft and it was well kept and delicious. Barmaid was very friendly. They were just opening the restaurant the night we called but we weren't
I visited for the first time in 20 years and was very pleased with the restaurant and fun friendly atmosphere. Fantastic customer service and fabulous pizza. Me and my friend shared the Thornberries Special Pizza with chunky chips. Plenty for two people and was delicious and the bill was surprisingl
In for the Manchester Derby. The free food at half time from the landlady was quickly snaffled, and greatfully appreciated! Bigger TVs needed and more chairs - but let's not be too picky when United win and City lose
The food was great. I love Italian food and it’s not often you get authentic Italian cooking at such a reasonable price.
I think it was great!!!, Being in the grill place as a family get together for a buffet, I loved it. The chips were great and so were the chicken. Quite salty but I loved it all, especially the coke cola it was PERFECT! 🤤❤️❤️❤️😍😍🤩😁 AND there was nothing wrong with any of it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Gorgeous food, wine selection and gin bar ❤
Food was great and in a very friendly atmosphere. Was a very quite night so we did get full on attention. Was a very personal table service with interactive meaningful conversation not just scripted. A family run venture. Would not hesitate in returning
The interior is beautiful. We had a lovely funeral buffet in a private room but after looking at the menu we are going to revisit in the next week or so. The staff were lovely & friendly and very efficient at serving & clearing tables.
Had a really good meal with the family. Great food which was reasonably priced. My steak which i ordered rare was cooked to perfection, the stone baked pizzas are excellent and the kids all enjoyed their meals.
This pub has recently had a new landlady. Food is fantastic, cooked from fresh so you do have to wait a little, which was not a problem for me personally. Some great live acts, bands n tribute acts are held here & for free too. They do also hold a mixture of ticketed events as they have a back room
Very friendly staff, under new management and the food is a lot better now, very well priced, nicely presented and always give you just enough portion size to make you feel nice and not bloated. Reasonably priced drinks and loads to choose from.
Great vibe, foods excellent, owner Anthony has really made something great of the place, highly recommended for couples and family’s, and respectable people. Friendly loving staff. Tapas are top notch
Very nice meal for 8 of us. No complaints.Wine very palatable also. It was a Saturday night and very busy.Service excellent.
Updated:- Now in new ownership by an lovely family who really make a difference. Excellent food and service. Locals will recognise the original owners of " Tea Cup". The clientele has also improved, and it's great to find a nice food place in Middleton not selling Lees beers. Well worth a visit for
