A lovely, luxurious afternoon tea. The staff were very warm and attentive. They have a really talented pastry kitchen, the afternoon tea itself was very impressive.
Beautiful ambience, very comfortable. They have the largest seleciton of Assouline books I've ever seen in one place.

We went for the classic afternoon tea. We usually don't like the top dessert layer but this was the best one we ever had. The food was fresh. Scones just out of the over. The service was attentive but not overbearing which is the perfect balance. I would recommend it to try the alcoholic drinks too they had a great collection. Not many tea options but the ones we tried were very good quality with nice taste. A place we would definately re visit when they change the menu.
Just got back from having afternoon tea to celebrate my mum's birthday, we all enjoyed it. The sandwiches were made with different types of bread (sour cherry, rosemary and potato), buttermilk and apricot scones (lovely and fresh) and an assortment of lovely cakes. There's an assortment of teas to choose from so you're definitely spoilt for choice. The staff were excellent and very attentive, you couldn't ask for more. We will definitely be coming back here 😃🍰
We had a champagne afternoon tea here, we arrived early and the staff were accommodating of that. The food is all of a high standard. Staff are all really friendly however they do feel a little unorganised and perhaps not as attentive as you would expect. Nevertheless we would return for another afternoon tea for sure.
Went for Afternoon Tea for Father's Day and boy did it not disappoint. 5* service and food. The selection of sandwiches and cakes were amazing. The staff were amazingly attentive. The look and feel of the room was great, felt very cosy and welcoming. You get what you pay for!
The Afternoon Tea is great fun, sparkling wine was good and the sandwiches, scones and cakes are absolutely amazing.
The cakes are some of the best I’ve had, so light and the match of flavours are amazing, not too sweet.
Lovely food and drink. Superb staff. I take away a point for some of the music choices. It at times sounded like generic hectic pop. To me this bar is classy and a place to savour a full sensory experience. Perhaps cliché, but classic big band jazz might work?
Oh, please folks, take a moment to observe the delightful French bartender. There's something mesmerising about watching him work. His dexterity and grace are wonderful to behold, and some of his movements remind of a performing magician or similar.
Had a gorgeous afternoon tea with Prosecco. Staff are welcoming and friendly and the surroundings are very stylish and comfortable. Lots of variety of food and all freshly made. Highly recommended.
Delicious wines and food. Stopped by for quick lunch with a friend after spa and we both didn’t want to leave.
We have just had an amazing dining experience at The Library. The food was delicious, the service efficient and a special mention for Edoardo who was very attentive and made sure with my food allergies were accommodated.
We will definitely be returning!
We had afternoon tea in this lovely spot and it was exactly what we were looking for as Americans traveling to Manchester.
The gentleman behind the bar couldnt have done enough to help when I asked for a certain type of wine! He went out of his way and even added little bits of fruit to make it sweeter :) Amazing service
