Amazing food, the best in the area! I'm a vegetarian who happens to love Chinese food. I've tried all the Chinese takeaways around and without doubt Jackie's chippy is the best by miles. Very very tasty food, I could kill for their fried broccoli and the vegetable chow mein is truly vegetarian , they never tried to trick me with just picking out the meat from the normal chow mein, unlike other takeaways around. Well done Jackie's, keep up the good work, you're the best!!!
After trying so many Chinese takeaways in the area and always being disappointed ive finally found a great one. Would definitely recommend giving this place a go and can guarantee you wont be disappointed. Food is always spot on.

Amazing couple!! On Fri 11-Oct, I got admitted to NMGH Hospital A&E. At 22:15, I pass out when loaded on to theatre trolley for life-saving op. Consultant at hospital rings my wife and daughter for further consent, and they are both at Jackie's buying fish n' chips. Their phones die, so consultant rings them on Jackie's mobile. They get their food, and Jackie then drives them both to the hospital in Crumpsall. My op is successful, whilst my daughter eats her delicious meal in waiting area. I cannot wait to thank him and his wife, and then buy fish n' chips for the whole family because their food is always excellent.
Always absolutely spot on at Jackies Chippy, Jackie and his wife have definitely world class skills! They should open up some local restaurants, it would certainly be a success!
good priced very generous portions and really nice food delivery is a brilliant option i use all the time i live 3 miles away and still travel to this chippy as its the best i've found
