Frankies & Bennys

(This review is based on an experience I had on the 30th of May, 2023.) My friend and I had around twenty minutes to kill before our movie at Vue began, so we thought we’d get something to eat. I’d never been to Frankie & Benny’s before, so it looked like an opportunity to try something new. I must say I wasn’t disappointed. (For the food, I’ll only be covering my side of the order.) The place was hygienic and organised. I believe the music fitted the American theme quite well. The colour-scheme was well co-ordinated in my opinion, and I’d definitely say the seats were comfortable. The ambiance/vibe was pleasant and inviting. We were served by a wonderful waitress, whose name, if I remember correctly, was Jordanne. She was really affable and attentive, which made us feel extremely welcome and cared for. She’s a role model for hospitality, I’d say. We didn’t feel rushed to order our food, all of our order was served accurately and prepared relatively quickly. Neither of us had any complaints, and I now really wish I'd tipped her. I ordered sweet-potato fries and a BBQ pizza. And if I were only allowed to describe it in a single word, I’d choose this one: impeccable. Presentation wise, it’s what you’d expect: nothing untoward and rather neat. The pizza was already sliced, which is always a massive bonus, because it just makes eating more convenient. Both portions were also fairly reasonable for what you paid for, I’d say. The temperature certainly would’ve appeased Goldilocks, that’s for sure, which I find is seldom the case when dealing with pizza. It’s usually just piping hot, and I find that you have to either wait for it to cool down or intensely blow on your slice. However, the heat of this pizza was at a sweet spot where you could dig in immediately and not feel punished for it. This held true for the sweet-potato fries as well. Contextually speaking, that was even better for us, since we were in a race against the clock to be in our seats. As for the taste, it was absolutely delectable. I’d definitely get the BBQ pizza again. I had zero faults with it. The BBQ base, the chicken, the mozzarella, all of it just seemed to have the perfect balance of flavour, and the crust was beautifully doughy. I found the sweet-potato fries to have a great texture, with a crunchy exterior and fluffy interior, and they contained the great blend of sweet and savoury that makes them such a treat to eat. Overall, it was a brilliant experience, and I’d recommend this to anyone who may want to try something new. I know I’ll likely be returning in the foreseeable future. Stopped in for a quick lunch yesterday, food was good and prompt. If you very been to Frankie and Bennys before you'll know what to expect. I'm leaving this review because our server was exceptional, extremely outgoing and all around lovely. Thank you very much to Lucyna for such a good experience 😊

Greet by the most wonderful lady, wonder customer service and certainly Knows how to talk to customers. Sat at the table, came round within minutes for a drinks order, kept us updated with our food and was brilliant with recommendations. Would come back, food is lovely and came out in very good time, but mostly the customer service! Deffo recommend:-)

Frankie and Benny's is a restaurant chain that showcases the ultimate combination of delicious food, great service, and a lively ambiance. I recently dined at one of their locations and was blown away by the overall experience. The atmosphere was energetic and had a fantastic vibe, making for a warm and welcoming environment. The menu options were extensive, with plenty of mouth-watering dishes to choose from. I particularly loved the juicy burgers and crispy fries that were served hot and fresh. The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout my meal and made sure that everything was up to my liking. All in all, Frankie and Benny's exceeded my expectations in every way, and I can't wait to visit again soon. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

Good food and comfortable surroundings. Separate gluten free and vegan menus available. Gluten free burger bun was unfortunately inedible as it was so solid that I could not cut or bite through it. Baked potato was pretty tasteless and not a very good side dish for a burger.
