Reserve Wines

Reserve Wines is a must visit for the wine lover in this area, the staff knowledge is really outstanding and they have a good selection. I don't drink a lot of wine, but I do love wine and the staff here make it easy to find new things to drink at pretty much any budget. I bought a beautiful English pink sparkling for a friends 50th here and it was stunning. I have also gone through a selection of other wines finding it hard not to just drop in on my way past. Expert knowledge is something you can teach, and the fact that they bother to do that with all of their staff means almost always get what you want from this place.

I took my girlfriend to one of the tasting experiences they offer. 6 wines, £40 per person. I have never done a wine tasting before. I like wine and that's about all I know about it. We had some olives to snack on and then our wine expert Gary talked us through the idea of the menu. The first wine was described in detail and it tasted really good. This happened 5 more times, each wine bringing something completely new and exciting to my pallet. By the time we got to the last wine we were feeling pretty... merry. All throughout the experience we chatted with Gary and it was so nice to have the help of someone who is clearly passionate about his job and wine. He really did educate us on so much. We all had a really good laugh as well. Of course we ended up buying a bottle of one wine we liked in particular. A Riesling. Which I now know is a type of grape thanks to Gary. Needless to say my girlfriend loved it and I am well and truly in the good books. I really couldn't recommend it enough. We will be back to enjoy a 'flight' soon.

I had a great experience here with some very knowledgeable and friendly chaps. We popped in for some wine and ended up staying for a few hours chatting and enjoying a couple glasses and some snacks. The people working there were lovely, very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. They helped me pick out a couple new bottles, which I can conform were exactly what I was after.
