Great authentic Polish food. The main I had was the pork shoulder with potatoes and salad. The pork was full flavoured with a thick and tasty sauce, the potatoes were scented with mint and the salad and coleslaw were full of flavour and with a perfectly contrasting texture and flavour to the meat and potatoes. It will finish you!
And at a very reasonable price
Delicious food at a very reasonable price! I'm a vegetarian and I had the pierogi ruskie (cheese dumplings) with side salad, then a Polish cheesecake for dessert. There was even more choice for meat-eaters, and I can't wait to take my partner so he can give some of those a try. The portion sizes were very substantial, larger than expected for the price. I will definitely be returning!
Only suggestions for improvement would be expanding the drinks on offer and writing the daily specials on the board in English for the non-Polish speakers, just to make it a bit easier, although the waitress was happy to translate when asked. But these would only be finishing touches to a great little restaurant, definitely not deal breakers.
Amazing food and amazing people! We ate and drank like kings! Staff were so friendly and welcoming.
Would 100% recommend and will def be going back soon!
Thank you for a great night!! 🥳🇵🇱🥟
Delicious and great value food. It was freshly cooked, and served piping hot: we had beetroot soup and stuffed pancakes. Friendly service. Spacious area outside under roof, allowing eating out in safe fashion. Will be back again soon.
Very nice food, lovely atmosphere, good prices, big portions. Highly recommend to anyone who would like to try polish homemade food.
Delicious food, reasonable price and good portion. Owners do not speak much English.
Tasty traditional Central European cooked cuisine for those who appreciate the traditional 2-3 course meal for lunch/dinner as opposed to some shabby sandwich/burger meals with chips that you get offered at 99% of the UK restaurants...The portions are huge, I had the Hungarian meat pancake filled with pork & salad/pickles plus a soup...it was delicious! My friend tried the pancakes sweetened with quark cheese (or cottage cheese if you like) plus a soup & she really struggled... The ladies cooking the food speak Polish but they accommodate you in any Slavic language (we spoke in Slovak with them) plus a bit of English. There's no waiters here you have to go and order at the window where you can see them cooking your food. CASH ONLY don't forget;-) well worth a try!
Decent eatery in old school, family style. Very friendly staff, two ladies cooking traditional Polish food. No alcohol served. Hence, place more suitable for families. Overwhelmingly large portions. We had Kotlet po Zbojnicku and soups (soup was too salty though, perhaps re-heated few times before?). Interior reminds of old good times with carnations on the tables.
Amazing food! 100%recommended 🙂
Visited here once, which was my first time I had ever tried Polish cuisine. Had a really lovely lunch meal deal for around £10. Food was delicious and looked fabulous. I always have to have two meal deals from a grocery store to feel full, but the set lunch I had was just ample.
Good value for money!
We discovered this little restaurant by chance, welcoming and friendly staff, the goulash was amazing, as were the pancake rolls filled with cabbage and mushrooms, and the tasty side salads. We also had some great potato pancakes. The portions are very generous and we were full after all the food, so we took a cake as takeaway, which was very yummy as well.
Been there a few times now and I have to say, it's the best Polish restaurant I have eaten in UK so far. Always freshly made with high quality ingredients. Customer service it's exceptionally good as well, very polite and ready to help. I will be coming again and again. Thank you for great service everytime. Best od luck 💪🏽🙌🏽😍
Amazing and authentic food, such a delightful treat.
Hands down one of the best restaurants in Manchester. Amazing food, chill ambiance, lovely staff, very good prices. If you've never had Polish food before this is a great place to start. I love the pierogies, goulash, mixed salads, and pickles.
That was such a discovery. Lovely place that reminds me of the milk bars from Poland. What matters here is the food, don´t expect a fancy/posh restaurant because is not one of that kind. Instead, is a familiar one. You can feel as you are eating at home (if you were polish of course).
The price is more than fair for the quantity you eat because portions are really big.
As far as I know, there´s no alcohol serving here and don´t know if you can bring your own, is worth to check. But being honest, who needs alcohol with this lovely homemade style food.
Excellent home made food in very good price
Place is very clean and food was delicious but its little bit prices
Beautiful food , amazing service and huge portions, definitely will come back
