I love this place! What's not to love? Fresh hot chocolate and coffee, reasonably priced and a fantastic selection of cakes and muffins as well as other drinks, sandwiches and snacks. I'm definitely going to pop in for my lunch at some point.
I like this coffee shop. I think it was first run by the cheeky cafe company but then it closed down (some years ago) and was taken on by Spar on the corner who bake some of their stuff in the kitchen - they never changed the name so it’s still called cheeky coffee cafe. Off course I could be completely but I was sure that it was open and then closed ( must be 5 years ago so can’t be sure). Anyway, it’s a nice little cafe that I pop into occasionally on my way home to Hulme. Pleasant and totally down to earth staff, unpretentious (unlike some some coffee shops). Coffee and hot chocolate are the only drinks I tried there and they both nice, and reasonably priced. I recommend it if you are in the area and is 3 mins walk from the Oxford Road station steps.

Great tasting coffee and hot chocolate that's not watery like some others. Also the prices are fantastic. It makes some of the larger coffee places redundant because you get the same or better quality for less. Totally recommend it whether you're just passing by or want to stop for a while and sit in.
So read a review on here which could put people off going in, as i pass this establishment on a daily basis. Been in a good few times and always receive a good service. The menu is limited but lovely hot food and any average cafe has the same amount of items on their menus. The kitchen and counter area is open plan and clean. So you can see who is handling your food ( I am ocd and this puts my mind at ease.) Today visited for a panini and scooby snacks for the desk to go and greeted politely, told how long my food would be and it was packed up nicely by the gent who prepare it. Observed good team communication when the till area got busy. Tables cleaned and cleared. I dropped a star as asked if I wanted a drink and limited lunchtime "deals" cheeky coffee could do this to draw in more custom. Good prices. It's a cafe. People need to loosen up and stop deterring people from finding a good place to eat by leaving bad reviews all the time.
Fairly priced, with simple healthy snack options like egg and spinach pots. Staff are friendly. Only draw back is that the entrance is so large with automatic doors, so you do get a bit of a chill in colder weathers, but the warm hot food options make up for it.
There are 2 best parts of my day that I look forward to religiously...Cheeky Monkey breakfast time and 17.00 when I clock out. Do I really 🤔 need to say more🙃.
Great off the beat coffee place, cheaper than starbucks etc, coffe tastes great. Also sells food, sandwiches, pies, jackets etc as well as a breakfast menu, again great value.
No frills.
