Great food and friendly service! My partner loves the food here and has visited numerous times, this is my second visit and the food was fantastic. A great spot for lunch!

Best Chinese hotpot restaurant in Manchester. Had it on a chilly rainy day amd totally warmed us up! Just a top-up needed to earn 5 stars: serve pork belly slices too instead of just beef and lamb slices. That'd be great

One of the best Chinese in town for food quality and taste. Service and staff are average.

It has a new owner, claims they have been open three days, hotpot was okay quite expensive though, (£20 per person it's a buffet) , only good hotpot place I've been to in UK, the place was totally empty so easy to find a seat, the staff was great.
Overall its a great place, it looks great, the food is great in comparison to most Chinese food you get in UK as most of it is westernised this is actually traditional.
The bad point is that they don't seem to speak much English, so westerners would have difficulty ordering.

Great food, great options and great taste limited by the staff ability to welcome people other than Asians. Plus absence of card payments was big factor to me. The price is also light on the wallet. Try the hot pots and you will be back for more. The chicken skewers each for a pound was awesome.

By far the best Chinese restaurant in the North of England. I absolutely love this place! I go there every chance I get. Sometimes I even go all the way to Manchester just to eat there. Staff don't speak much English and is not very willing to adjust the dish to your needs (example: can I have this noodles with chicken instead of pork? No.). But still the best Chinese food I have ever had outside of China.

Ever since the management changed the restaurant has been fantastic. We had hotpot and it was (almost) like being back in China. The service was also great but they do need to work on their selection of spirits!

Best place to have proper 'CHINESE STREET FOOD' in town. You can have very unique hotpot experience with five-flavor soup based pot. They also make traditional food but no as good as others. They have karaoke rooms in the basement with minimum spending on food and drinks.
Eurasian Gastronome
Excellent place. The bad reviews are misplaced by people who don't understand what Chinese food is all about. If you're looking for a overpriced, bad quakity , corner cutting restaurant set up to rip off people who think Chinese food ends at a sweet and sour chicken on egg fried rice, this is not the place.
The menu is extensive and has something for everyone. They have many types of dumplings and pancakes, barbecue (wide variety of sate sticked fish, meat, vegetables), hot pots (a soup fondue), hot dishes, cold dishes etc etc. For the officiados, mostly northern/Szechuan food. They also have a really good breakfast and lunch menu. Most customers are Chinese. Reason being: this place is a modern, decent restaurant similar to what you're find in the classier parts of Beijing or Shanghai. It is also possibly the best restaurant in Manchester for 100% tasty & genuine Chinese food. The staff are welcoming so if you're not so familiar with Chinese food they're happy to guide you through the menu. N.B Chinese dishes are served when they are ready and are shared with everyone on the table. Therefore if you want to eat your food in western "course style", just ask otherwise you'll have your food served to share. Think tapas but Chinese style. They also have very good karaoke downstairs.

My favorite hotpot in Manchester, and the Ma La Xiang Guo (dry hot pot) is lovely too. More of a cafe than a restaurant experience but this is how food is in China. Great value for more and authentic.

quite authentic Chinese cuisine, mainly Szechwan style, a good choice if you like spicy. It is one of the Chinese restaurants that me and my friends visited mostly.

Very unimpressed. I ordered a dish that was not stated as being hot, but was very hot with 5 chilli's which I picked out, I could not eat it was that hot. My friend ordered a Japanese Chicken Curry, which was very greasy and had a very high cucumber content. The chicken in this curry was very grisly. :( Really would not recommend.

Very friendly, lovely food at reasonable price for the huge servings.

Really nice authentic chinese food. Definitely recommend!

Takeaway service so suck and they even gave me an attitude when I just kindly wanted them to repeat what I have ordered. Highly not recommended if you don't speak mandarin. Bad service.
