Jafra Restaurant

This is truly one of my favourite places to eat in the greater Manchester area. It’s nothing short of a hidden institution. As soon as you walk in, you’ll join a bustling atmosphere of families and friends who clearly frequent the place on a regular basis, and for good reason. The service is warm and friendly, and the food is…well let’s just say that when we ate here, it inspired us to have Palestinian cuisine at our wedding. It’s truly sublime - the Mousakhan is one of the best chicken dishes you’re ever likely to try. And I’ve not even mentioned the hot and cold mezzes yet, which are up there with the very best too. After spending only £40 for both of us, we left with a full box of leftovers - so it’s not only wonderful food, it’s great value for money too. If you’re looking to get away from the overpriced small plates of central Manchester and transport yourself into a real Palestinian family kitchen for the evening, get to Jafra.

Great restaurant with a very warm and relaxing vibes. Food was great , good portions with reasonable prices. The open buffet today was perfect , lots of food , loads of options to choose from appetisers , main course , drinks and dessert.Majed and Tarek served us, they are very professional ,friendly ,polite and cheerful.

After my first visit to Jafra Restaurant, I know I’ll be a regular customer. Other than maybe the decor of the restaurant, everything about my experience was on point. Food here is incredible - served hot and using fresh ingredients. The flavours are amazing and the prices are quite reasonable. The service was also very quick and efficient, we didn’t have to wait longer than 10 minutes before our food started arriving. Overall, I highly recommend Jafra to anyone looking for fantastic authentic Palestinian/ Middle Eastern food.
