Szechuan House

Kind of disappointing given the good reviews. Food took a long time to come out and the results were very sub par. Ordered the Mongolian beef for pickup and was served a very bland, flavorless, almost slimy grey beef with onions. This dish had no redeeming qualities. I was shocked someone thought, "this dish is something I am proud of and would eat". The other items we ordered were okay. Standard fair but heavy on the salt and not much else. Given the other options nearby I would say it is best to pass on this. Maybe eating in you'd have better luck (I don't think anyone could serve this beef with a straight face). I've been cautious of leaving harsh reviews the past two years with restaurants making adjustments to the pandemic and labor crisis.. but this was just SO disappointing and gross.

We started off really liking this place. Then for some reason it started taking an hour and a half or longer to get delivery. Lunch time on a Tuesday, or 5pm on a Thursday. Seems like it doesn’t matter. They say 45 mins and then it’s double the time. Food arrives barely warm. Unfortunately won’t be going back.

Worse customer service experience I have ever had. The nasty women (who, referred to herself as “Trouble Maker”) business will be lost because of you. When I went to the restaurant, because she refused to send a delivery driver because I inquired as to what the delivery charge would be. She refused. I asked to speak to a manager, of course…none there. She even told me to shut up as she was refusing ME service. Owners, you should be ashamed of this “trouble maker”. I will never patron your restaurant again. All because of a women who wouldn’t serve me, give her name, or connect me with a manager.
