Porky's Pit Bbq

I'm disappointed at the poor response to my complaint. The response to giving me a pack of buns with MOLD was a refund of $1 and some change and saying, " Oh it happens sometimes 'cause it's so hot in here." Then she preceded to say the buns are cheapest item in a family pack that costs $24, that's why I got a refund of a dollar and change. When I sent a picture of one of the buns, she said she would refund me for that bun. Really??? What??? They clearly don't appreciate their customers, they don't take responsibility for their actions, and they make excuses. I love supporting small local businesses, but they won't get another penny from me. I won't be going back!

Imagine an over cooked burger that was stored in it's juices and water, slapped on a dried out bun with one line of ketchup across it, that is what their sandwiches are like. As for their nachos, same wet dried out meat on top of stale chips, and nacho cheese. Watered down drinks, especially the sweet tea and lemonade. The only things we got from there that was not disappointing was the packaged chips and the Sara Lee pecan pie. I am the only bad review that got a reply because I just gave a one star, look at the 2 star reviews.

If you're looking for a fancy, upscale restaurant with excellent table service and immaculate place settings, this ain't it. But if you want some awesome, grab 'n go BBQ with sides, Porky's Pit is a great option for lunch or dinner. Walk up to the window, order, pay and take your food with you! Keep in mind that this is old-school and they don't accept cards - bring CASH. If you think that's inconvenient, just know that the flavor that awaits you on the other side is well worth the trouble. Highly recommended!
