Five Points Country Market

My son and I stopped in for some ice cream while traveling between Columbus and Cedar Point. This is a quiet, friendly little market just outside Mansfield. Though close to a big city, it's a charming country store and diner. The food smelled delicious. The dinner choices were country classics and spaghetti for the kids. We had 8 well selected ice creams to choose from. Scoops we're very generous. There's a simple and comfortable dining area with room for about 30 people.

We were on the motorcycle and stopped in for an ice cream. What a cute little place! A small country market in the front and a restaurant in the back...booths, nicely decorated. Can't comment on the food because we didn't eat there, but the people were very friendly, and there were about 5 cars out front.

Prices are fair for the homestyle cooking that you receive. I got their biscuits and gravy and the purchased 1 over medium egg and their hashbrown (shredded). Their biscuits were a little undercooked. The gravy was also a little bland. My egg was cooked to perfection and the hash browns were on point. The server and the cook were one in the same person. Super friendly and the food came out within ten minutes. There was four of us and I was honestly impressed with the level of quality from the food and the time gap it took to recieve it. All around a great find and will be back again.
