Cafe On The Common

First time there. I visited for breakfast. It was delicious.Reasonably priced.Although it is a really popular place, our food came out within a very reasonable time. Omelet was pretty good. Coffee was fresh and tasted strong. The other menu options were great as well. You should give this place a try. Highly recommended. I loved this place.

My daughter and I went to one of our favorite breakfast places in downtown Mansfield this morning, as usual it did not disappoint! I had the Farmer's Skillet (eggs any style, homefries, bacon or sausage, toast). I get mine with a side of their fabulous hollandaise sauce to dip my home fries in! My daughter got blueberry pancakes topped with strawberries and whipped cream, a side of home fries and bacon. We ended up taking half of each home! Delicious! Waitstaff is friendly, prompt and helpful, menu is extensive and the restaurant is super clean. Definitely recommend!

This place was packed for Saturday brunch. The food was pretty good. The Crab Cake Benedict was great separately, but the combination of the Hollandaise and Crab Cake was a bit much together. The pancake was perfect, light, fluffy, and delicious. The French Toast was on French bread and ended up being underwhelming - the bread was a little too light and thin to hold up to the egg batter. Would definitely try this again with some slightly different menu choices.

Haven't been here in a couple of years, probably won't be back for a while. It's not bad but certainly nothing special, I had banana bread french toast/w bananas, it was a large piece of bread but not really grilled completely, also not a ton of bananas, since there are no sides maybe a good helping of bananas would have made a better presentation. Also, wait staff, a smile goes a long way.

The menu options were great. My waitress was super good to me; until I said I would be sitting all day and working on homework. I am from Maine and here on a day trip. The owner approached me about my plan to sit all day. She said I couldn't do that. She also asked me "Who does that?!" This is super common practice where I come from you can sit in a cafe all day, as long as you are a paying customer. I felt extremely unwelcomed and put off by this point. I ended up walking a mile and a half to Starbucks. I tried to support a local, small business. They legitimately forced me to chain up, and give my money to a corporation.
