The bartenders at this place are the rudest people I’ve ever come across. They are “cold”, ignore you, they act like everything they do for you is a favor, they openly complain about what visitors tip them so everyone can hear, they make fun of patrons after they leave (and yes everyone can hear the rude remarks about people’s image etc)... I wasn’t even sitting at the bar but witnessed and heard all of this. I’m sorry to say that if this establishment doesn’t hire better employees they will start to lose business even faster than they seem to be. I doubt I’ll be back... I can only assume that they made fun of me after I left too after seeing this happen to basically everyone who came and went during my visit. It’s a shame how badly these ladies represent a staple of Mansfield. The place could do so much better.

A great casual dining experience and consistent kitchen staff make this a prime location after work.
Edit: The bartender was horrible (for the third time). Doesn't know how to make a Shirley Temple and had a nasty attitude the whole time. From five stars to one - Hope this place tanks.

I'm from a ways away in Erie, Pa. Came through for one night. I liked it here. Basicly locals; friendly bartenders. People seemed really nice. Recommended for a comfortable bar experience.

The Catman is an authentic local gritty working man's bar, with good food, drinks, Keno & pool. The clientele changes from an older crowd to hopping young crowd later in the evening. Recently reopened for lunch. Don't dress up!

Some would say dive bar, others would say local watering hole. I would say, it's within walking distance of home so I can get blackout drunk with no consequences 10/10

I was a patron at the Catman about 4 weeks ago. The service was impeccable and since they have coped with these new COVID rules, the place was extremely clean and comfortable. I did not feel as if there was one germ or dust particle in the place AT ALL!!! The staff were (as usually) very hospitable and friendly. The tables are spaced out and ALL staff is masked up as appropriate. They even made a very convenient window placed close to the bar to turn out food and lessen the transit time from the kitchen to bar. I was very impressed with the modifications they have made, and their food is still the great quality and expectation that is representative of their menu, as well as past experience. It is also STILL a great place to grab a drink with friends. I look forward to many more times at the Catman.

I like the new setup and was actually very impressed watching the staff. I noticed that they really took extra time to sanitize every inch of those booths and tables after each party. Made me feel safer about being there.
I had the risotto. It was cooked perfectly which is a big deal to me. Not alot of restaurants do it right. I was very impressed. Also, the portion of seafood with it was large and plentiful. I'll be ordering it again.
