Great place for beers and pool/billiards
It is what it is. Village club, has lots on and a good atmosphere. I have only ever been for sunday dinner. Its like a mental trip back in time to when your grandma made you an old school dinner with grandma gravy. Worth a trip for the memories and also a nice dinner :) probably need to book in advance though
Tried and tested party venue with good size function room, snooker tables upstairs, a pool table and darts! The Sunday dinners here are second to none!
Had a brilliant evening here. Was sat in the larger function room at the back for an event featuring adult entertainment. Food is advertised as being available at certain times but not when we were there. I purchased a beef cob which was nice and soft. The slab of beef was gorgeous. Good service at the bar, good selection of draught beers served at a good temperature.
Had back room for a social function, clean ,tidy ,warm. shame about steps to access room as had elderly and less able bodied. Not told if wheel chair access . £50 returnable deposit if left clean and no damages . Staff helpful , good bar service and prices. X
The venue has a nice and pleasant atmosphere with warm welcoming staff . A place where people of any age will find something to like
Attended following family funeral. Room was clean & warm service by staff was excellent as was the buffet they provided
Traditional style venue come pub, probably had its heyday during the the Coal Mining period. Still good to sit and have a drink, Small stage for acts, not sure if this still happens, probably my first ever visit, so take whatever i say with a pinch of salt. There is a pool table and the main room separared off by a doorway. There might be more upstairs but didnt venture. Overall a pub for locals and regulars, and why not!

Called at the venue for a meal must say the home made meat pie was lovely and cheap. Staff friendly even had a few games of bingo with the lovely ladys that was in. Must say I will be going back next Wednesday...
attended a wake after a dear freinds funeral celebration of life very clean place food was lovely and fresh toilets clean staff very helpfull and polite
