Review West End Tavern Pub And Restaurant - Marden

I’ve personally had a few meals in the West End and have always found the meals, service and customer service impeccable, and because of this I decided to treat my 4 year olds birthday dinner to this establishment, including 9 others of my family members. I can honestly say from all that ate and drunk in the West End we were overwhelmed with the service and treatment we all received so thank you Emma and Del for accommodating us and making our/my sons end of day beautiful ! Thank you once again for being genuine and caring publicans 👍 Top work to you both and I hope and trust your proud, as you should be 🙏💪

After having a very long day at work I decided to pop into the West End Tavern to have some good old pub grub. I chose the Cheese burger with chips and it was delicious and cooked to perfection. I would also like to add that the staff were really friendly and welcoming as well as being extremely sufficient and professional. I highly recommend this place and will certainly be eating more of this awesome and very reasonably priced food 👍

Nice pub, certainly seemed popular for lunch on our visit. Also has a good size outside space when the weather is warmer (although did also have a couple of outside heaters even if it isn't warm!) We had a few drinks and the staff seemed friendly - nice touch that they noticed us finishing a drink and offered to get more. Will come again another day and try food...!

The West End Tavern is now under new ownership, and what a great job they are doing. Great staff, as one would expect, and a lovely welcoming ambience - just as I'd expected. I booked a table for a big group to kick off a friend's hen party weekend. Without me asking Emma @ West End Tavern really kindly decorated our table which was such a lovely surprise! Food, service, staff were all great, very friendly atmosphere.

My family and I visited the west end tavern recently having heard it had changed hands. We were not disappointed at all. We were warmly welcomed by Emma and Del and had a lovely meal. The food was tasty and homemade and the staff were all polite and welcoming and the atmosphere in the pub was relaxed. So nice to see it packed with drinkers and diners We will definitely be returning again

Delicious meal, great atmosphere and lovely staff. Emma really went the extra mile with service and food ordering catering so well for my autistic son who can't wait to return 😊 we will be back often for sure! Good children's menu and very accommodating with variations 😀

Had a very nice evening here. Although not shown on the menu, I was able to have a vegan option of vegetable tart, which was lovely. The lady serving us was very helpful, kind and friendly. Service was excellent and the prices were good. Nice pub and good food.

Excellent food, excellent welcome, The owners will serve you some excellent gin from a local brand called Anno. Absolutely incomparable. Nice people, a place to go when in Marden.

Nice pub with a good relaxed environment. Food was nice and served promptly. Low ceilings are always something a little unnerving to me after a couple but I'm sure the rustic charm is liked by many.

Went here for my nieces birthday celebration and the whole experience was truly wonderful, from the super warm welcome, to the excellent food which was extremely well priced. When it was time for the desserts to come out the chef( I think hes also possibly landlord) and landlady started sing Happy birthday and the chef had put a candle In the birthday girls ice cream. Made her day, a small gesture like that made her feel truly special. Thank you for everything, can't wait to come back and visit you again sometime soon .

Excellent Farmers market on a sunday morning second week of each month. Fabulous food and great staff and landlords . Proper village pub highly recommend a visit

Friendly and Polite staff. Amazing choice of food and ale. You can get a delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner. Well worth a visit.
