Staff here are very friendly indeed, but not too much. Looked after my friends and I really well and also dog friendly..... So that was nice!
Lamb kebab starter, sausage and mash with onion gravy was sublime and banoffee for dessert.
Prices are kind of average these days for this type of pub and food, but well worth it and would love to go back again one day!
May bring the doggo for a pint in the garden though before I travel home! 👍🍻👍

Lovely roast, generous meat carvery, great cauliflower cheese. Friendly staff, food could have done with being hotter, roast potatoes not crispy but overall it was a nice meal would return

A great reception the moment we walked in the door. The Unicorn offers a good choice of draught beers and wines, and a menu broad enough to find something everyone would like.
Staff are very accommodating, and keen to please. Very understanding too, when we had to delay our reservation because we got lost walking there.
Meal sizes are large. No room for dessert.
We left early, but the pub was filling up nicely when we left early evening. Good atmosphere.

A great Saturday afternoon watching the rugby and then trying the steaks on offer in the 'steak night'. The food was excellent and whilst for my budget perhaps a little pricey, you pay for what you get and these were faultless. Recommended

A great little pub. Staff were friendly & helpful. Great ambiance & a beautiful little restaurant area. The food was absolutely delicious & we ate there two nights a row. If I was ever in the area again I’d definitely go there again & I’d highly recommend this place to anyone.

We for a Sunday roast at the new carvery at The Unicorn....was very busy! Recommend to book well in advance! Was a really nice roast lunch and plenty to offered.
Pleasant atmosphere only downside was that the small eating area inside where we were sat was extremely hot and no opening windows or fan which made it slightly uncomfortable.

Went in for the first time after working in Marden for nearly 5 years. A group of us descended on the pub for a few pints before and after a curry up the road.
Nice pub, friendly landlord, plenty of space inside, small garden with some tables out the back.
I spotted menus there but didn't have a meal. Will have to try it out at some point.
