Took a bus to Brunch, and what a blast from the past (in a good way), with congestion however, all journeys take longer than expected. The 80s aesthetic and the views of the sea from the windows made the wait bearable. And the wait was worth it for the food! A modern twist on traditional English brekkies with unique cooking methods, the food smoothly headed to the terminus, the stomach. Would board again if I return to Margate. In case it’s not obvious, the bus doesn’t actually go anywhere.

One of the best places I’ve been for a breakfast. Superb location and venue with friendly staff. The best bacon sandwich I have ever had. Bacon lardons, spinach, balsamic vinegar and seeds in sourdough bread. The hash browns were really nice too. Will be returning for sure, would recommend booking though as we were lucky to get a table and saw many others be turned away.

Who wouldn’t want to eat brunch on a bus with a sea view? We were lucky to get a seat on the top deck just as someone was leaving (booking definitely recommended at weekends!) the weather wasn’t particularly summery but this place had a lovely vibe and great food to match. Definitely high end for a bus!

What a pleasure it was to have our lunch here. A small café which was quite busy on a Friday lunchtime but they fit us in without a reservation. We sat outside. The food was delicious (I had the vegan hangover breakfast) and well presented. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It was a hot day and they offered us a table in the shade once one became available, which was thoughtful.

This place is so great!! I can see why they are always full. We went for lunch on a Sunday with young kids who absolutely loved their child size breakfast baps with egg/bacon/beans etc. The adults loved the "crumpet sliders" and the full English breakfast - "the hangover" - all beautifully presented and delicious.

Really great food and lovely service. The bus itself is quirky and intimate. The seats aren’t huge which I can imagine would be a draw back for anyone slightly larger, but covered outside seating is also there so could be perfect for that situation. The food was really good, good coffee and tea too. We had the bacon sandwich, the hangover, a portion of crumpets and a side of hash browns which were delightful! Would definitely go back on a return to Margate!

Stunning breakfasts! That's the most important thing. It was our first time visiting the Bus Cafe, we've often remarked on it looking interesting - but never tried it. Luckily for us it is open on Thursdays, the last day of our trip to Margate. We went because of references to the "best breakfast in Margate", and it definitely was the best we had. Never had a breakfast like it, my 'Posh Breakfast' was crushed peas and salmon on sourdough with picked beetroot and roasted nuts. Completely delicious. The coffee was a nice interesting blend, strong and delicious. My wife had the Hangover cure breakfast with sausage and mushrooms, which was apparently equally good. We were standing at the doors when they opened at 9am, so probably lucky to get a table without booking online. It soon filled up in the top deck seating area. The whole thing is a joy to experience, with a fantastic atmosphere. Imagine 6 or 7 groups squeezed onto tiny tables, with a tiny aisle up the middle for everyone to use. Dishes coming up the tiny staircase, no room at all. Brilliant, and definitely top of the list when we next visit.

We were so excited to have our brunch on a bus (especially one that was stationary, no car sickness here). The food was so wholesome and comforting whilst being dynamic and interesting. Great place for some photos, brilliant service and I would definitely eat here again.
