The Med

We went to this place last year and was amazing. Came again today as we had such a lovely meal last time. Sat down and ordered, the waiters serving were lovely young lads really polite. As an honest review the food took a long time but we are good with that for the quality of the food but after a while we had to ask. Something went wrong somewhere and after an hour we were told another half an hour with apology or the option to leave. Things happen and we decided to hang on (after a few peronis). Atmosphere was lovely and the service was great so we were happy to wait they offered a discount for our time we said we’d be happy with another drink and to their credit they discounted 50% of our bill which we really did not expect. We thought that was amazing customer service and are so grateful. Food amazing as always.

Food was great and service was impeccable the only problem was the outside manager seemed overrun and was way over the top with the staff that obviously knew what they were doing more than he did Young lad just cleared a table and he flew in saying I need you out here in a sharp tone the lad had been in less than a minute and was visibly upset by this. Way to lose good staff just chill out and let things run get a lot more from your staff that way. Overall good would recommend food and great location

Decided to update my first review with yet more great feedback. Came here for breakfast for the first time although we eat here regularly through out the summer. The breakfast was outstanding and by far the best we’ve had in Margate. The sausage was of great quality, beautiful sour dough toast, real butter, exceptional customer service. This will now be a firm fave for local breakfast!
