I knew I wanted to have my wedding at Goldstone Hall after my first visit. I fell in love with the hotel straight away, it's charm and staff are amazing but when I saw the stunning Oak Pavilion I knew I had to get married at Goldstone Hall. I cannot thank the staff at the hotel enough for how hard they worked on my wedding day, Victoria was absolutely amazing! She kept me so calm and I trusted her completely straight away- I was right to as well, because the whole day was perfect. Oliver was brilliant during the evening reception and kept everything running smoothly. Sue was absolutely amazing with the run up to the wedding as well and the whole time I felt that they could not do enough for me. I was worried because I have celiac disease (can't eat gluten) so I was concerned what I would be able to eat, but the hotel and chef completely tailored a menu for me including my own canapé board which I was so grateful and thankful for. It was all the little things that make this hotel so amazing, from the staff ready and waiting as I went to walk down the aisle with umbrellas to the way they seamlessly turned around the dining room and then the service during the meal was so professional and organised! I could literally go on and on and I am sure I have not mentioned even half of what they did for me to make my day as perfect as it was. I cannot recommend this venue enough and I cannot wait to celebrate my anniversaries here each year! From The Alsop-Halls :-) xx

Went to a wedding at Goldstone this weekend and was very impressed! A perfect location for winter wedding - very cozy inside but still access to the beautiful snowy gardens. The staff went above and beyond! Catering was great. We stayed in the hotel overnight too. The rooms are super comfy, the bath was fantastic.
Thank you Victoria and Team for a delightful stay. The Nest was perfect for Lucy, Peter and myself and we felt very comfortable. The evening meal was absolutely delicious and made the birthday celebrations special. Thank you, we will no doubt see you again soon.
Lovely setting with good service, great place to get away. The gardens are a must.

My daughter held her wedding reception here on Saturday & I cannot recommend it highly enough. Beautiful location, fabulous gardens, cosy, intimate atmosphere, rooms outstanding, food delicious & fantastic staff all round. Don't think twice - book it!
The perfect venue for that special day. Set in idyllic country side and having amazing gardens of it's own, it exudes peace and tranquility in a homely environment. Stunning accommodation, with first class food and service! Congratulations to Richard and Sue on their outstanding achievement. (My stepson Dan and his wife Jenny used to look after your apartment in Lanzarote! Small world!!)
Had wonderful anniversary celebration Saturday. our guests were thoroughly impressed how it all flowed so well.

and were only too pleased to make our stay
memorable.
Bedrooms are out standing our guest were so comfortable there.
We all came away on a high with all the

This little bit of paradise was an unexpected find. Great rooms, fabulous service, delicious food and all done with such passion, flair and panache. We will be back!
We didn't stop here over night but the guests who did gave it a fabulous review. The gardens were stunning, so much love gone in to making this a beautiful wedding venue. The staff were all quite young and were obviously cherry picked because each and everyone of them were a credit to this hotel.
As a guest I loved the peace and tranquil surroundings. This hotel is the kind of country hotel you only find once in a blue moon.
This is a lovely hotel within a beautiful setting with fantastic gardens with RHS complimentary flowers. The hotel holds many events such as weddings, open days and more. The food is excellent and delicious. The hotel is family run and the standard of service is very high nothing is too much for the guests.

Sarah the kitchen gardener was very friendly and knowlegable. Food was amazing. All in all a perfect day. Will definitely be back.
Enjoyed a very nice light lunch on the terrace overlooking the gardens on a sunny afternoon - just lovely and highly recommended. The ornamental and kitchen gardens themselves are well worth a visit. Very friendly and helpful staff.
I came today for an afternoon tea with a group of ladies. The cakes were lovely as were the scones. Unfortunately the sandwiches were dry and seems they were either left out uncovered for hours or had been frozen and dried out while defrosting.
The gardens are a delight to walk around and the garden summer house was lovely to have the afternoon tea in. There was a log fire burning in the room to take any chill away.
Had a wonderful Sunday lunch, setting was beautiful, staff are lovely, food was fantastic especially the pudding trolley. The gardens are gorgeous to walk around & just to sit, relax & drink our coffee afterwards. A very special day for us.

Visited to explore the gardens and have lunch for an anniversary. Beautiful, quiet location with immaculate gardens to explore (charge applies), and fabulous food sourced from the kitchen gardens. Staff are friendly and informative about the food and gardens.
Came here for my sons wedding. Could not fault the location, rooms, service and beautiful gardens. Would highly recommend for a wedding venue and a stay over.

Attending a one day conference. Beautiful setting, lovely staff and excellent food. Just small critique, it was noisy coming from the kitchen area in the meeting area. But fab place for a cosy, Country House feel with a warm welcome and great service

Went for Sunday lunch as a treat. Excellent! Highly recommended
We came here for a birthday celebration lunch for 2. It was beautiful and very relaxed and friendly. The food was wonderful, with fruit and vegetables from the garden, and my desert was customised, without fuss, so that I could avoid lactose. The gardens were also beautiful.
A truly gorgeous stay in a splendid setting with a very friendly and supportive staff
Absolutely amazing place to visit. After a recent tour and sit down with Sue to discuss our plans to hold our wedding here, we ended up booking. Sue was very accomodating, welcoming and thorough. Last week we took our mum's for afternoon tea here and enjoyed it very much I recommend this place to anyone who is thinking about it. You will have to call to book.

Afternoon tea following a gift voucher. Four types of sandwiches, piece of ham hock, vegetable quiche, scone and cakes. Endless supply of tea and water. Obviously took note of previous comments as there were spare plates and cutlery for the sweet items.
