What a lovely local pub, everything that pubs used to be. It was a warm welcome with a friendly atmosphere, great selection of drinks, very reasonably priced and although I didn't eat the Sunday carvery looked delicious.
I'll be back for sure to try it out .
Best Sunday lunch/carvery in Shropshire. Value for money. Great friendly atmosphere. Booking highly recommended.

Me and my partner went in for a drink last night, mainly because it was local.
Unknowingly to us, it had recently been taken over. The service was second to none, fresh pints and cocktails too. Thoroughly enjoyable night and a brilliant atmosphere too.

Passed many times first time to go in. In past(probably due to COVID lockdowns and then restrictions) thought it was closed down. Recently realised it was still operational.
Pleasant pub welcoming, well maintained and cared. Will definitely use again.

Absolutely brilliant service! As we lost our bank card and the bartender struggled get to it but he did, had to take apart the entire bar sofa to get to it. Absolutely amazing atmosphere!
Just had a lkovely lasagne and hunters chicken at the Kings head. Great friendly service lovely food and a new management also. Well done and congratulations Sarah and the team ,well done on your new venure.
