We've just been in for dinner.
We haven't been to Market Harborough in over 4 years. The last time we came we had dinner here. We were visiting our friend and asked to come here for dinner again.
They never let us down. The food was amazing as always and the guys that work there work hard to make your experience enjoyable.
It was quiet but I guess it was early in the evening.
We look forward to seeing you again in the future.

The food was absolutely delicious (had Chicken Balti). Very fresh tasting 10/10. Service excellent. Just beware though that they no longer have an alcohol licence so you have to take your own beer/wine etc. No more Cobra/Kingfisher on tap 😕

Decided that this Christmas day we would go out as a family for dinner. Chose the Shagorika as we've eaten there before, and at £35 per head represented great value. Although there was a set menu, when I went to pay the deposit, I was told we could choose anything from the menu, starters, main, rice and naan. We did this three day prior to our visit. Hence on the big day we had a seamless experience. Staff were exemplary, our food arrived promptly, both delicious and good portion sizes. The restaurant was full so a lovely atmosphere. We were able to bring our own drinks which was a bonus. A leisurely walk home afterwards to a clear kitchen was the icing on the cake. Will definitely sign up for 2023! Thanks to all at the Shagorika for our lovely family dinner.

Best Indian restaurant we found!
We've tried many around the local area and all have been disappointing.
Service was excellent, the food was full of flavour not just pepper. If you like naan bread again these were perfect, not stodgy but light and tasty.
We will definitely be going back.

I am surprised this place isn’t busier than it is. Every meal we have had so far has been excellent. We drive for half an hour to get here and usually have chicken Tikka Madras or Chicken Tikka Balti. Both excellent. The Madras is a good old fashioned Madras sauce like it used to be years ago. Too many indian restaurants tend to ‘pimp’ their sauces nowadays and try to make them new and different. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it I say. There are no alcoholic drinks available so you have to take your own which suits us.

We were on the area and decided to find a good Indian restaurant. The recommended one was very busy so we decided to try Shagorika. The staff were very nice and pleasant and food was amazing. Very happy with the service and food .

Cannot recommend this spot highly enough! Easily the best Indian in Harborough in both quality of food/ service and price.
Their Pathia really is the best one around just as they claim it to be. All sides were made fresh at the restaurant and it really makes a difference. Naan, and Onion Bhaji were both superb and had us all wanting to come back for more! Real standout for me was the garlic fried rice which managed to make a standard part of a curry into something special.
Staff are as friendly as they come and provide flawless service. Really makes a nice atmosphere in the restaurant when they can enjoy and thrive in the environment of two large tables of 10+ coming to eat at once as was the case on our visit.
For a price not significantly higher than a takeaway this experience is worth the trip out to try in person. Worth noting that the drinks aren’t particularly expensive either which is surprising for a restaurant of this quality.
Will be coming back to our new local spot for sure.

We went out for our anniversary meal to the Shagorika. We were well looked after, the staff were friendly and attentive without being in your face but most importantly of all the food was absolutely delicious. Being able to bring your own alcohol now is definitely an added bonus!! Thanks for making our evening so memorable. It will definitely be our first choice curry house from now on!!!

As visitors to the area we didn’t know what to expect and we were not disappointed. We were a party of 8 and were told to expect a wait for the food but it came really quickly and I have to say it was amazing and the best Indian I have ever tasted. The place was really nice and the service was excellent and the staff really friendly. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely go back.

Shagorika is the only Indian takeaway we use in Harborough and we love it. We ate in for the first time a couple of weeks ago for my husbands 30th with a group of friends and it was superb. Food was fast, delicious and hot. Great service. Thanks Shagorika!
