Found a local pub no booking required whilst I dropped my son to a two hour kids party near by, they were able to accommodate my dog and also without asking also gave him some food without charge!
The food was amazing and service great also the local bones lager offered as something different was well with it.
Had a wonderful lunch here with friends. Food was excellent and we couldnt fault the service we received. We dont live in the area but always call in for a drink when we house sit for our daughter . Always feel welcomed by the staff and would recommend to anyone .
Had a 30th birthday party in the garden and it was great! Chris and his team were friendly and so helpful and worked hard to give everyone a truly lovely time ! Thanks also to the chef who melted away at the bbq and served up delicious food ! Thanks all xx
First time here and quite impressed. Its bigger than it looks from the outside. The food was good and the waitress was excellent, kept us informed throughout and nothing was too much trouble. Nice little outdoor area which reminded me of a Spanish taverna...
Nice place n lovely staffs. I visited the pub today. I really had a good time. Lovely staffs- very friendly n always check on us if we need anything. Quite nice atmosphere in the beer garden- gone bit chilly after 7pm but can't blame staffs. Me n my friend would definitely go back for drink n meal. We had the snack platter 3for £12.95 n we both loved it. Will try different food when pub is fully open in few weeks 😂😂😂
Fantastic place they were so good to the dogs, Food was excellent too and plenty of it I would highly recommend.
I live in Spain and was craving a roast real badly. Just had the pork belly Sunday roast and oh my god it was sooooo good😍. It made my day. Service was great as well and the waitress was super nice.
I tasted the beef roast and it was also incredible.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception on Saturday 27th July at the Oat Hill. We had an absolutely amazing day despite the weather which was a bit rainy. It was made even more special by Chris and all the amazing staff at the Oat Hill who literally went the extra mile to make our day spectacular. Everyone agreed that the hog roast and bbq was the best food they had ever had at a wedding and the service was second to none. I would have no hesitation in recommending and using this venue again for further occasions. Thanks to all the staff
Wow. What a fabulous pub! Amazingly dog friendly! Wonderful food and most importantly fantastic service! 4 of us plus a dog. We had an amazing lunch and Alfie the dog was over the moon with his steak off cuts. Thank you so much for your kindness and wonderful service!
Chatty and accommodating staff in a well presented restaurant made for a really relaxing multi-generational family meal. Confident we'll return when in the area
A lovely pub but much more. Large gin selection and some tasty beers are on offer. Food in separate restaurant area is available and menu provides choices which are tasty. There is so a lovely and large garden should the weather be nice. Lovely to have this as a hideaway from the world for an hour or two and enjoy your favourite tipple. They also allow nice pets and have a small car park to the front. Staff friendly and helpful.

They do movie nights, how fantastic is that.

I cannot recommend this pub enough. We had our wedding here on the 06.08.22 and it was just perfect from start to finish.
Chris the owner of the pub made sure we had everything we needed, and that it all went smoothly. He was always on the phone if needed, and was always there to help. The food was amazing! And the cocktails delicious.
Even If you aren't planning to get married here, the food and drinks are delicious. The garden area is beautiful, and the atmosphere is relaxing and a lovely location for a afternoon.
I can recommend this pub enough, and am really sad my wedding is now over. But I will be back for more food and drinks very soon :)
