Review The Olive - Market Rasen

Perfect for a one night stay but disappointed that there was no breakfast when it's attached to a pub. Room had everything we needed but me and my husband are a bit deaf so couldn't hear the TV as it was set very low. Buttons on remote kept getting stuck and couldn't use one flush on toilet had to use both. But all in all for what we paid it was ok would stay there again. Ideal for the races

I phoned up at 9pm on a Sunday evening asking if they had a room for the night. I had booked into another hotel locally, but it was so bad that I had to abandon the other hotel. The owners were pleasant on the phone, and I was clearly not the first person to have called up wanting out of the other hotel! The room was well priced, tidy, and properly equipped, the shower was nice too. If I stay in the area again, I'll definitely return.

It was a lovely room. would've got five stars but the AC didn't work that well.

Great rooms with little extra's and with a great price! Breakfast is not served at this venue but there are some great venue a short walk away! Dinner is served in the bar next to the rooms which is great and quirky inside with excellent food.. Will come again! Keep up the good work The Olive Rooms..

Booked here for the Market Rason races and it was amazing! the room is very cute and clean! The tapas is authentic and so tasty. The owners and other staff are just incredible, so accommodating and overall good people. Stayed up late just talking and drinking,we had such a laugh! We will definitely be coming back to The Olive Rooms!!! :)

Excellent facilities at The Olive Rooms. Loved our stay . Fabulous hosts. Friendly and accommodating, even after the recent floodings that caused chaos for them. Ever the professionals, kept it all going. Well done. We'll be back most definately.

Stayed in one of the double rooms with wetroom shower. Rooms are a little small but very clean and nice. Very efficient booking in, no problems whatsoever! Parking available on the premises. I would definately book one of these rooms again.

Had a room for our vow renewal night. The room itself was lovely but the mattress was very hard. We both woke up with a dead leg.

Spent two night here , the rooms are very clean , the bed was new and comfortable, we slept well. We ate in the restaurant on the second night (wish we had ate there both nights ) we chose the tapas which was delicious, the owners and the staff we really friendly and efficient, the only complaint is wish it was nearer to our home 🙂

Book! Book now! Fabulous, friendly place to spend an evening with a group of friends in an unhurried comfortable atmosphere surrounded by a phantasmagoria of delightful dishes for every taste. It was a true delight to be able to go in for a meal and be served a full meal of gluten free dishes without feeling you are making a fuss or having to ask in advance for dishes to be specially prepared. The hosts easily accommodated an additional two covers even though space was limited then brought out a higher array of different tapas dishes filling the table with a sensory delight. Definitely going back! A wonderful place of awesome splendour!

Gorgeous food (and plenty) at a very reasonable price. The olive has a great and charming atmosphere we genuinely felt like we were on a little holiday. The staff are welcoming and we really enjoyed the tapas (the meatballs especially) Will definitely be booking again :)

Stumbled across this great place completely by chance and I think we were their first customers for food. It's a shame that we're not local as I would definitely go back, the food was great, reasonably priced and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. It was their first night and I hope that they go on to have the success they absolutely deserve, a fantastic find.

We stayed as a family in the apartment. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly even making sure we had milk in the fridge when we arrived. The apartment was clean, spacious and warm after a long day out at the beach. We will stay again-great value for money.

Best find in market rasen. They were fully booked (got to be a good sign) but still managed to seat and serve us. We ate late and unfortunately a couple of dishes were sold out but as the place was packed I wasn't surprised.. although advertised as tapas the portions were somewhere between large and huge! For instance the chicken/chorizo from the specials board was easily a full size meal in itself £5.50 They also offer 5 tapas for £20 and I doubt two people could eat all five !! Great value for money. Very tasty food, pleasant helpful staff. They also offer rooms to the rear of the property (think of a terraced row of chalet/motel rooms vibe) which are small but perfectly adequate, again great value for money. Clean, include tea, coffee, ironing board, iron, hairdryer, TV, nice shower room... Can't fault the place, give it a go !!

What a hidden treasure! Lots of helpful staff and plenty of simple but stunning food! We had several special dietary requirements in our party and they made sure that everyone had an equally great experience! Google details just need to be updated, the restaurant now has a more spacious location about a 5 minute walk away from their initial address.
