Had the traditional English breakfast. It was really tasty and beautifully cooked. I will be returning for the Festive lunch in December!
What a wonderful Sunday lunch with all the trimmings. The vegetables are served on the plate attractively and just the right amount and piping hot which l like my food to be. You get Yorkshire puddings which ever meat you choose. Beef, pork and lamb on offer plus a fish and vegetarian option. There are also a wide selection of desserts. The crumble was especially delightful with a nutty oat topping. We shall definitely be going again soon!
On my cycle tour, I popped in here for a pot of tea. It was a roasting hot day, and the tea was like a transfusion. Very friendly service, tempting selection of cakes and really tasteful interior decoration. Fresh flowers in the window and by the counter gave me the feeling this cafe is really going the extra mile. Just as well, as with the closure of so many traditional grocery shops, the high street has an above average number of competitor cafes and bistros. So if you're passing, I'd say HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Lovely food here, really well cooked and presented. The specials menu is always excellent, with a good variety of fish, meat and veggie options. The restaurant is immaculately presented and spotlessly clean. Strongly recommended.
Fantastic place to eat. Lovely staff and wonderful surroundings. Only lost one star due to it being open Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Lovely scrambled eggs, smoked salmon and muffins in beautifully designed room, with friendly service. First rate.
